Heh, the truth is, while I do like to joke its the Darqling and Darqlette, there's just too much good TV to keep me distracted from turning on a game anymore - at least with the phone, I can do both
"Why would the possibility of me being wrong ever stop me from doing something?"

I do enjoy the phone stuff since my wife and I can both use them while watching TV. The bad thing is that we get so engrossed in our phones that we have to rewind Netflix every ten minutes because we missed something. But when the wife has oodles of schoolwork, I tend to go hide in the office with my video games.
I may check out ME, but I'm more interested in Dragon Age at this point, seems more like my style and skin for a game.
Awakenings (1) - more standard RPG
DA2 - More action RPG
DAI - massive open world, combat more like DA1
Really liked the story through, and if you like swords and sorcery you'll enjoy pretty much any DA.
See, that's my thing. Medieval and magic as themes, open world for content. Hence why I've been a WoW junkie for a long time. Maybe after soccer season.

So I think I tried DA1, and, I don't know what it was about the game, I just didn't like it for some reason. I like Skyrim just fine and I have played Baldur's hate, I just didn't like the first on too well and haven't gone back to the series. Thinking I may try one in the future, but have to buy a PS4 for Fallout, so it'll be waaaay in the future.
Eh, a halfway decent PC will get you enough gaming. You could get Marvel Heroes and sit there while your son watches and tells you to change characters every five minutes. I keep trying to convince him he's old enough to play on his own, but all he wants to do is watch and pretend shoot the bad guys.
I hear that. My daughter loves for me to play squirrel girl. I have her try in her own on my account, but she runs around and summons a bunch of squirrels, but she gets bored its not playing with me sitting on my lap. My son on the other hand has his own account but he's 11 now and has his own PC.
