Hmm, maybe. It would be nice to have folks to play online with (although I'm slowly moving to Steam for most of my gaming... which is a lot less than it use to be).

What's NationStates? A brief google search left me moderately intrigued.

I'm pretty regularly on XBL, though lately it's been watching Netflix.

It's basically a nation simulator. Kinda cheeky fun, really, there's an OLD mafia thread in the forum about how we were playing it like... 7 years ago? I just noticed the site still existed, though I doubt any of our nations are still around.
The main problem is that the issues you would "solve" were pretty repetitive, and there wasn't much variation. I would hope that got fixed in 7-8 years, but I haven't checked it yet.
EDIT: Well, the site LOOKS prettier... but I don't think it's that different, sadly.
But here's New Malakovia, as a massive civil war caused the United Socialist States of Malakovia to fragment...

The Commonwealth of New Malakovia is a fledgling, safe nation, renowned for its compulsory military service, absence of drug laws, and punitive income tax rates. The democratic population of 5 million New Malakovians are free to do what they want with their own bodies, and vote for whomever they like in elections; if they go into business, however, they are regulated to within an inch of their lives.
The enormous, socially-minded government juggles the competing demands of Defense, Spirituality, and Welfare. The average income tax rate is 58.6%, and even higher for the wealthy.
The struggling New Malakovian economy, worth 74.7 billion Rams a year, is broadly diversified and led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, with significant contributions from Pizza Delivery, Furniture Restoration, and Uranium Mining. State-owned companies are common. Average income is 14,933 Rams, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.
Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. New Malakovia's national animal is the Griffon.

Currently, I am fixing and taking over the mafia outcome thread (with Mag's blessing).
I am replacing links, adding start dates, fixing errors, finding lost/unreported games, updating the wins list, and detailing the names of the characters in those wins lists.
It's my hope that by the time I'm finished (a few days to a week) we will have a complete and comprehensive list of all completed mafia games on the forum, and a complete tally of wins.
Now while I am doing this, is there any other information that people want displayed?
I am considering adding affiliations next to the character names.
Anything else?
Good luck! that's quite an undertaking.
I would suggest end dates as well, but that might be a bit more of a PITA since the last post could be months or years after the actual game end.

Yeah I thought about end dates originally, but they don't really reflect anything because you're right, sometimes they end weeks after the actual game ended.
As far as Star Wars: Age of Rebellion Mafia goes:
2 spots open before I hit my minimum required players.
4 spots open before I hit my maximum required players.

Quite the undertaking. Kudos.
I have no other suggestions.

Still pretty much the same, though the new graphics/measurements are neat. I am now a Scandinavian Liberal Paradise (Quebbster take note!):

Hoping the fact that it's hitting me with a lot of the "same old same old" issues right away means that there are newer ones down the road. Had four yesterday and two today.
The four yesterday were classics:
15 hours ago: Following new legislation in New Malakovia, military spending recently hit a new high.
15 hours ago: Following new legislation in New Malakovia, voting is compulsory.
15 hours ago: Following new legislation in New Malakovia, same-sex marriages are increasingly common.

Knowing you, I thought for sure you would be watching it. It's good. I really like it, excepting one or two quibbles.
Jury is out for me because the first two episodes have been night and day. The first episode was too much cheesy sitcom. The second was much darker and somber in the drama vein. Hopefully they find a good medium with better dialogue more like the second episode. All in all, definitely worth a watch and I will be watching tonight.
