Just a quick update! We've contacted the individuals we're looking to work with. But if you weren't one of those folks, do not get disheartened as I'm keeping all your PM's "on file". So if any openings come up, we'll be in touch.
Wasn't there a brief series that featured a write-up on five older pieces worth revisiting based on the characters and themes in whatever new set was hitting the shelves? That'd be fun.
While I am happy that WizKids finally (re)made characters from way back when I started the series ... especially for the JLI and the LSH (re)makes ... but several of the series I wanted to continue or touch have at least one critical unmade member and that disappointment prevents me from tackling series I would really like to explore.
Also, my series' conceit of trying to tackle series that offer a true variety of HeroClix force builds is stymied by source material that doesn't offer that much variety in lineups. I'd love to see a parallel approach to some of the great animated series. The recent Avengers and Spider-Man cartoons offer HeroClix Variety (not so much Agents of SMASH), and the Justice League: United and Young Justice cartoons offered a LOT of variety.
Over the years I've toyed with making a series of articles named "Legion of Substitute Clix," where I'd take an unclixed character, break down powers, teams & keywords, and then list the best existing characters to use as substitutes for those characters.

I would find that worthwhile.
I also miss the showcasing of modder's work.
Those two areas are ones that might inspire the 'powers-that-be' into improving the variety of 'clix we are offered within booster sets.
I would note that content may just be facilitating a periodic contests and/or trivia that drives community interest (we'd supply the prizing of course).
Just shot a brief PM. I'd like to put together a series called "What are the Odds?" that takes a look at the mathematics of Heroclix. Probability of a hit, effects of powers like Super Senses/Shape Change, using mathematical evidence to help drive your decision of what to do with your perplex, your RCE, CCE, when to use probability control, etc. I've got the first couple topics/articles ready if/when this idea would be accepted.

You could try a google search on this site, as there have been several articles and posts made over the past decade+. Just to see what has already been covered. A retread wouldn't be out of place, but others will point out that this had been done long ago.
I want to put together something even more applied that folks can use to make real heroclix decisions. Knowing the probability of dice rolls is great, but where is there diminishing returns, when is it almost non-sensible to make certain actions, what is the best use of my perplex, etc.
Math is math, and I will layout the probabilities, BUT, I will also walk through the real game scenarios and demonstrate some situations where thinking about the math may notably increase the success of your turn and hopefully win you the game.
