Not going to Tulsa, but Origins is only a 2 months away.
Off topic. Is there any possibility or interest in making the 2 divisions Casual and Competitive? After nearly 15 years playing the game, I'm at the point where I want to play characters & teams that I like. I'm not uber competitive and like to play against people who want to try different things. When we had 20 teams, running into the 5 or 6 more competitive individuals wasn't that frequent. Now that we have so few teams, going 1-7 each season is becoming less and less attractive.
If we could have a casual division, where like-minded players could play each other, yeah, that would be great.
It's possible my instincts after the entities was that WK couldn't possibly design anything balanced for 25 pts again. I haven't faced enough of the Colossal Retaliation pieces or the KC figs to assess how balanced or not they are. If they're not that fearsome, so be it.
Also, loving the expanded feats pre-reqs and the new feats.

Do you mean the two divisions in FLE having a casual/competitive divide, or the two leagues dividing up that way? It might be easier to set up the leagues that way rather than within one league.
I would not spli up the league. More like an AFC (All Fun Conference) and NFC.
So instead of having every game against the other division, having only one game against the competitive division while the rest are all casual games, or vice versa?
we'd need to see who wants it that way.

Then my Kingdom Come core will be Hawkman and Red Robin for 205, leaving me with 1750 points for the rest of my team.

I see that Ambidextrous is both General and Soldier with no difference.
I think maybe we either want to change the Soldier version or give them something different.
EDIT: Same thing with Spy and Alias
@TVK did you catch the above?

This is really great work. Very Impressed.

I don't know that they need it either, but since you had thought of everything else, I thought I'd pick your brain.

Decreasing the damage dealt vs damage value only has a couple corner cases of effect. Even if it said damage dealt, it would be able to be used with Incap/Mind Control.
Well, it has been a while, but the old Player's Guide actually says that you can't place tokens if you use Incap (so it still worked fine with MC). The old loop-hole was that you could put Stunning Blow and Extended Range and due to wording and timing you could do unmodified damage, place a token, and get the extended range.
I'm fine with it as is. I don't actually think it's too powerful, especially if only possessed powers qualify as pre-requisites.

A separation of Leagues, or a brand new league is a tricky thing to call for. Regardless of theme enforcement, there's always going to be rules-ish lawyers (guilty) who manipulate the system.
Like, I've only ever once done a completely non-thematic team, which was my 3rd year Skrulls team, with Bullseye, Esme Cuckoo etc. My Gotham Knights team 3 years later, was 100% thematic, and probably worse than the Skrulls team. My team this year, while not in any comics or keywords, is even MORE thematic (in my head), just in a 'not recognized by Heroclix' kind of way.
Here's the antithesis of the problem: Lack of 'competitive' styling requires lack of competition (i.e tournaments, competitive season, etc). Competition is a HUGE incentive to continue a long standing system. So the question becomes: How do you incentivise a regular system of play?
Friendly home games get away with it because it's friends and camaraderie. That's great, but hard to pull off online. I mean, I'm more than willing to play a random side game here and there, if that's what you're looking for.
The other option is the RPSC (which I'm not even 100% sure is still going, but lasted a good several years), which is story based with experience, thematic teams playing thematic universes.
Everything else...kinda defunct. TAK's theme league died out relatively quickly, my 'Supremacy League' only lasted like...4 rounds I think? Jb's MAFL only lasted a season, and that was designed to be -extra- competitive. The new Hobby Shop league seems promising, but I haven't looked at it too much (I'm actively trying to NOT dive in head first into responsibilities here, as I tend to get overwhelmed and ignore the league as a whole mid-season. The upgrade thing maaaaaay have been a little overzealous on my part, but it's done. yay!).
So the point is, I will happily support any ideas towards encouraging thematic/fair/fun play. However, I do not know what path that may take, and I don't think any Heroclix/Magic/any collectible-competitive gamer has.

Spending another 5 seconds more thought on it, I could see a League like this working as long as there was a Commissioner/Game Master to keep teams in check, kinda like the NBA commissioner having final say on trades, or a DM disallowing a meta-gamey character into their campaign.
So, they would be the final say, etc when drafting teams. A little more restrictive sure, but the heart is in the right place. Cons might be that it puts a lot on the shoulders of the commissioner (they'd need to be up to date on the modern state of the game, the balance of things like the Retaliation Colossals/KC short dials etc, and able to smooth things over with rambunctious players).

I did catch the above. Made it Monster Hunter in honor of Blade and the Hulkbusters.
With a lot of the feats, I tried to add a lot of older more popular rules for our sake, or rules we wished were still in place. For instance Battle Fury being able to throw objects. I might still add HSS option 2, as an upgrade for HSS. I -really- wanted to add the optional KB for Combat Reflexes as an upgrade, but I also -really- wanted to avoid anything that would pause the game as much as possible (sorry Glen )
For Colossal, the only thing I can think of is bringing back an OLD OLD rule, where and objects along the path of a moving Colossal are destroyed. Which I always kind of liked, so maybe I'll add it

Hobby Shop is being run by myself- with the same lack of competitiveness that seems to be wanted here. I've got it set up to be pretty much just data entry at this point on the commissioner/shop side of things, which helps a lot on taking a load off of.

What I was thinking on the competitive / non competitive side of things, was finding out which players wanted to be competitive and which players didn't want to be, and tailor making schedules for everyone based in the divisions. I have tried that in the HCFL, and it seems to be working better than not, (Some of the newer players I couldn't tailor a schedule for because I didn't get to see their games, so I didn't get to see where they'd fit.)
If we want to just go with that as a stand in, I can do it. The problem there actually lies in the division draft. I'd have to come up with some sort of weighted schedule draft, to get the two captains to draft properly. But at that point, why have a division draft?
And I can't lay it at the captains' feet, because part of it is a division schedule in the first place. With the lack of players, maybe splitting the schedule to be 4 games in division and 4 games out of division? That way, even if one captain chose super competitive and the other laid back, you'd have 4 competitive games and 4 laid back games.
I'm spitballing ideas at the wall, right now. Checking to see if any of them stick.

I started a fun/themed league, with longer games and a shorter season, last January. We started with 12, 4 dropped out, but by the end of the first 6 months, only about 4 or 5 were posting turns.
I didn't get an opinion on if we wanted to do the same as HCFL with rp being close to the same as the lowest player with characters. If that was the case, it'd be 950. Otherwise, 700.
