I may up my order from a brick and some random boosters to a case and a half for this. After Psylocke didn't apear in UXM, and we didn't get an X-Men, Apocalypse set, I'd given up hope of getting a new version, but now were getting (at least) two. Plus X-Force, my favorite X-team. I was already on the fence about Superior Foes (I dig most Spidey allies, not a fan of his villians [sans Symbiotes]), but now I think I'll pick up singles and save for this set.

Maybe we will finally get Monkey Joe clix? And a squirrel clix? Look at the Black Cat/Streaky the Super Cat!

I was just thinking of this today. They might even be better received than the black cats.

I thinking over a theory that this set is in the spirit of the original X-Force, mainly the training of young mutants. It makes some absences in Uncanny more explainable. Illyana fits in with her old teammates and was a teacher at the New Xavier School. Banshee was a teacher of Generation X and his daughter was in X-Force. Hope, Laura, Elixir, and Evan all have ties to X-Force. Maybe even a small Initiative/ Avengers Academy team Slapstick, Wiz Kid, and Laura. Marrow was a member of X-Force. It allows Deadpool, Wolverine, and others to anchor the set while getting needed remakes and unclixed.

I might be reaching, but I've been waiting for the characters that got me started on comics since I got into Heroclix.

If they don't focus too much on Deadpool, I'd love to see the Mutant Liberation Front and a new Stryfe who were the primary antagonists of the first X-Force Series.

I really really hope there's a Weapon II if we're dreamwishing for squirrels, I just caught up on Howard The Duck and the crossover with Squirrel Girl was pretty great, in part because of the murder squirrel.

MLF are powerfully unrepresented. After marauders lovin', I wouldn't mind them getting attention. Plus some of their members have overlap with weapon x, marauders and acolytes

Yeap, that's why they came to my mind! And I'm so excited they included such a weird character! As well as the X-Statix (Finally) You know, I'm still amazed we have never got a Surge, Dust, Anole, Hellion and these guys from New X-Men, but well... At least it looks like we'll have a lot of characters never clixed before. By the way...U-Go Girl and Venus Dee Milo look pretty similar, and both are teleporters... if they are included I bet they could perfectly do a re-paint work on them to get both (as usual now), or one of them could be a prime of the other one!

Considering there have been two sets based on Giant Size X-Men #1, and neither one of them had Banshee, I wouldn't count on anything as certain.

To be fair the set actually named Giant-Sized X-Men didn't exactly have very much in the set based on that issue. Banshee wasn't the only one left out, there was no Nightcrawler, Colossus, Sunfire, or Thunderbird and Cyclops and Storm were in different costumes.
But the GSX subtheme in UXM, yeah that's a let down.
