Artistically speaking, Red Lantern Venom would be awesome. You'd have black tendrils with red auras everywhere.

But yeah, if I were looking to become a general, I'd petition Thanos as either Wolverine, Deathstroke, or Venom (cause they kind of missed the plot bus getting ganked so early), or I'd do Parallax or someone as a Sinestro Corps member under Lyssa, or I'd do Hulk or Kalibak under Darkseid. Lots of potential.

So any of these characters could be used as a member of Thanos' army. And the black lantern corps can raise people from the dead. So as listed above, Black Lantern Venom could be an awesome thing of beauty. As could black lantern Sinestro. And there is still 3 DC space characters reinvisioned as minions of Thanos, and one DC character who is Thanos's son. Have fun with it and let us know your thoughts!

I actually forgot that about Bane. And that's a pretty cool story. Maybe it's an anti venom thing.

Eddie Brock comes back with a black power ring to replicate his symbiote.

Or he steals it back from Bane, bc the symbiote loves Brock lol

Or some of the dead cells the symbiote left behind when Brock died are also reanimated by the ring. Those symbiotes are like play-doh, you never get it all off.

So what's the starting territory for lyssa drak? Talok? And will she get her own distinctive color?

Bleez watched her father work, his strange combination of science and mysticism, weaving cosmic energy with something else, something older than this petty reality. The black ring on her adopted father's finger glowed--did it glow? It was more like the absence of light, hungrily devouring any brightness in the room--as he whispered, his voice like falling stones, into a tarry pit in the center of the chamber.

"Step forward, hunter," Thanos said. "Rise again. Your hunt isn't over yet."

a massive forearm, ropy with muscle and ending in a huge, clawed hand, reached up out of the tar. It was followed soon after by the hulking shape of a man, no, more than a man, something monstrous, something hungry, that looked at her with bright white eyes.

"Welcome back to this life, Venom," Thanos said. "And welcome to the ranks of the Black Order. I name you my newest general. You'll find plenty of war to sate your hunger here."

The creature snarled, baring a mouth full of razor teeth. Thanos smiled at him.

"Death-Venom of Earth. Welcome to the Black Lantern Corps."

The ceremony was interrupted as Bleez's sister, the pirate Nebula, arrived, some of her Chitauri pirates pushing what looked like a casket on a floating hovercart. Nebula was flanked by the bounty hunter Lobo, who looked around, bored as usual.

"We got what you asked for," Nebula said. "It shouldn't be surprising, but it is remarkably hard to smuggle something off Qward."

"Good," Thanos said. He placed his palm against the casket. "This will be useful."

"Well, in any case," Nebula said. "There's more than one person who wanted to help us. We had connections on the inside, and the Korugar girl--"

Thanos waved her off.

"Whatever we paid, it was worth it," Thanos said. "This much I know."
