Played Civil War M4 on Saturday night.

My games didn't go great (my best result was about 220 points taken out), but because there were only 4 of us, I walked away with Captain Ironmerica and Namor, along with Stature, Songbird, and MACH-IV.

Also, Yellowjacket was my MVP. There are very few pieces with THAT good of support for 60 points.

my team had 2 speedfreeks, songbird, and task master.

And it killed the crap out of my Yellowjacket by roughly turn 4.

But it was a good game!

Unrelated note: Had some good pulls from rando boosters this week. Sketch Prime Kraven (right after someone made a crazy offer to me for him - which was nice), Hydro-Man & World's Finest duo.

First you have complete impatience from people who think it's the freaking stock market or something.

Imagine that it is Saturday morning. You wake up and decide to post a few things, so you toss up a picture and some prices. You then head out to breakfast.
When you get back and check your Facebook, your posting will look something like this.

7:27 am - Harry Balzac: PM coming in
7:28 am - Phil McCraken: Sending a PM
7:29 am - Harry Balzac: Hey, I see my PM is still marked as unread? Have you checked your "other" inbox?
7:30 am - Kraven Moorecock: Interested in some stuff, but I'm looking to trade. Do you want anything but cash?
7:31 am - Harry Balzac: I STILL haven't heard from you, man. Just respond to let me know you got my message. Remember that I responded first.
7:33 am - Peter Gozinner: {tag}Dick Hertzer{tag}, you might be interested in some stuff here.
7:35 am - Harry Balzac: Has anyone heard back from this guy yet?!?!?
7:38 am - Hugh Jassole: PM sent

The other thing is that the instant communication seems to make some people try to pull some shenanigans by hoping you aren't reading to closely.

The last thread I had up (which included all 5 Phoenix chases for sale, priced around $50 each) had an exchange something like this:

Him: "Would you do Cyke, Magik, Colossus, and Emma for 125 shipped? I'm in Texas."
Me: "Sorry, but that's like a chase and a half for free. I can cut some deals, but not that much."
Him: "But I'm me!!! Surely you have heard of me. I'm rather well known. I am the president and CEO of Blankity Blank comic shop. I'm kind of a big deal."
Me: "Sorry. I can't say I'm familiar. FWIW, I'm somewhat known over on Realms where I usually do my trading."
Him: "I'm mostly interested in Magik and Emma. Looks like they are listed at $95 together."
Me: "That's correct."
Him: "That sounds good to me. If I got them could you include shipping?"
Me: "Sure."
Him: "Great. I'll take it. That's Emma, Namor, and Magik for $95 shipped. Send me your paypal to confirm."
Me: "Um...we never discussed Namor in there."

That's the last I heard on that deal.
If I'm not mistaken, I think I found out later that that guy may even be one of the mods for that FB trade group.

That's pretty much why I stopped selling stuff.

I had a couple painful trades on Facebook which made me decide not to sell there. The questions jwb and I were discussing are what pretty much stopped me from selling on this site.

yup! I think I'm resigned to go to ebay... I don't mind cutting people a deal, and in fact actually like it, but there has to be some give and take!
