You should know by now that I can't do interviews with unofficial magazines or web sites.
Nice thread though. A lot of uninformed opinions, but I'm used to that.
I'm glad you are. Sometimes the information we get from UDE or any official source is not enough, so we have to have uninformed opinions. And some are antsy like that, especially about ban lists.

United We Stand (Already commonly used but almost every deck will run it now)
Scapegoat (Nothing bothers beatdown players like summoning four sheep during their battlephase)
Field Power ups (Especially if your beatdown deck focuses on certain types and attributes)
Mage Power (Wherever United We Stand Goes)
Axe of Despair (What can be better than 1000 ATK point increase on any monster)
Magician of Faith (One magic card back? Great)
Mask of Darkness (I'm the only one who runs this and it baffles me why, I rarely see jinzos or royal decrees around in my local tournaments so I get my traps back into my hand)
Your opinions are yours, but I doubt your predicitions will come to pass.
Dark Hole is restricted, and when it was not banned, no one used White Hole. It's hard enough to obtain and situational.
Scapegoat is already popular.
Field Powerups are already popular depending on the deck type. Check out attribute decks in the depot and you'll see many still include Gaia Power or Luminious Spark.
Mage Power may not be popular because it wasn't banned when United was, yet that saw little play.
Axe is also not going to be used as often since it's an equip. Bad topdeck and too dependent on other cards.
Magician of Faith is already popular.
You probably don't run many traps, so the likihood you'll get a trap you want back will be hard, and Jinzo is still popular, so Mask of Darkness won't be played too much, though I run it myself from time to time.

I guess famous people always do :p.
White Hole????????????? Axe???????? Fields???????????
White Hole just for Dark Hole............. ummmmmmmmm nope not worth it, White Hole is utterly USELESS......... why run it when I can run My Body as a Shield and still stomp on many other cards............
Axe, UWS, Mage Power........... equip cards are not that good, they never take presedence over other more useful cards.
Fields....... see equip cards.
MoF, Goats......... become more popular???? your saying there not????....... man then I must of been dreaming when I went on the Deck Depot and saw this two in 85% of every deck....... seriously they have always been very popular.
Well this is my ultimate opinion. Water decks will rule period. Way to easy to get level 5 monsters out easy to blow up field and that awesome trap card that allows you to look at your opp. hand and discard a card. I can see proabition being a major factor with that deck, warriors willbe same as a machine. But machine and water decks maybe exodia will run wild again. I made mine and I had someone use it he came in 5th. place with 40 people. I wished insects to be able to have much more of a operunity, but thats not going to happen. Zombirs will do a thing or to but not much noise from them. Overall we will see what happens. I have allready started playing out cards for the new ban list like I said my exodia does pretty good. He only lost cause of time ran out. So whatever happens with the ban list It's going to help but I see that their are more cards that willbe abused after it's done.
Tis ok kevin, I should have thought about such things before issuing the proclimation, yet as you said, there are a lot of uninformed oppinions here. What better way for us to know than to get some face time with someone you can interview with?
The biggest question on my mind is, as the thread said, what cards were you unable to make KoJ budge on?
By giving people all the good cards cheaper, but not letting them see how to use them well from the best players, you're pulling them in with one hand and pushing them away with the other.
I kind of disagree and dont with that. Its like any other sport, because this is infact a "sport" of sorts. Lets say your a 12 year old and Max Suffridge (sp) is your idol, as similarly Babe Ruth being someones idol in baseball. You want to be just like them, grow up and play baseball, or play yugioh at tournements and win. You tailgate him a bit, see what decks he used/uses and mimic that. Now as that is perfectly legal and cute, yugioh has given us an ability to be original, and lines have been drawn giving something short of a 50/50 to Originality, and to those who want Victory moreso. I agree on that part, where I disagree is how CCing/Netdecking should be encouraged. It shouldnt, we should be encouraged to us our minds to see what works best, not "cheating off of our neighbor".
Thank you,
Azurai Aeon
to errata the chaos twins and balance them out they should...
-be nomi monsters so NO Recursion (Premature Burial etc.)
-require two tributes on top of the removal requirement
-count as your normal summon
just a hypothetical nothing more!
Warriors and Zombies gain little to zilch from the unsemirestricting of V. Lord and M. Captain but they are top runners for the new cookie cutter.
In my humble opinion re-ban United We Stand and Dark Hole and the list is perfect
You cant just errata everything cuz thats a big mistake, it confuses people way to much especially people who dont got acess to all these erratas and such.
