Come March 1st I will bring Kalut down to one copy in this deck. For the time being I'm trying to decide how this deck will function in the new metagame. Obviously it's strategy is going to have to shift, I need to figure out what the best way to do that is.

Den, I'd start with replacing Kalut and Icarus with 2 Smashes and 2nd Reaper

Smashing Ground isn't versatile enough for me but Reaper will be great in the next format.

Apparently I only have 1 Spirit Reaper now. Not sure how that happened. So until I can grab another Reaper this is what I'm going to be running:

I'm just bummed out that I have to wait until June to try out Zephyros the Elite in this and my Dragunity build. I can see that easily sliding in here to protect Black Whirlwind for an extra turn.

The one thing I'm still questioning is how useful D.D. Crow is going to be. I almost want to run Mistral so I have something else I can pull from the deck with Shura. I doubt I'll get his effect off that often, but really that's just a bonus. It's either that or Breeze, which might be a little more interesting. I'm sure I could squeeze Sangan in here somewhere since it would give me another way to search out the now really important Kalut and Gale. Sangan would also give me another monster that I can abuse Enemy Controller with. Hmmm, I'm starting to like this idea, I might have to see if I can make it work. -1 Sirocco and -1 Crow should do the trick.

You could use Dark Eruption in place of Kalut, as far as the deck goes I'm testing a Skill Drain variant w/ Barbaros.

I had Dark Eruption in the deck when I started updating it for the new format but then took it out because I needed the space and I thought Enemy Controller would be more versatile than Dark Eruption. It's still in the back of the deck box so it could easily find it's way back into the deck.

I have been running the same type of Blackwing build for a long time. Most of the OCG Graveyard Blackwing decks haven't interested me but when I saw this recently I thought it would be worth testing out. At worst it will give me a reason to track down a Super Rare Return From the Different Dimension.

Probably not, I don't remember the last time I touched it. If you have a list I'll run through it and see if there is anything else I'm interested in and if I have anything from your wants.

Probably going to grab a Zephyros soon so I'm looking forward to trying out this deck.

Excited that this deck topped in Providence. I liked the addition of Malicious to the deck so I'm test driving that. Probably the most fun I've had with Blackwings in a long time.
