Well, I suppose we do have something then, eh Freep ;).
Anyway, I would love to see how this is handled. Maybe they'll FAQ all GS costs to nominal (standard recruit cost) and the MC to be in line with the other MCs.
Me thinks someone has been raiding the Spirit Cats' stash, again! :p
Completely off topic again( and I apologize) but why do so many people think that Spirit Cats are pot heads? Is this something that is backed up in the fiction?

I'm surprised more CBT historians don't jump on this.
Normally, Nova Cats are a vision seeking clan...but they don't typically seek the visions through hallucinogens. That's more of a Clan Coyote sort of thing (they seek visions through the native american sort of route, inhaling intoxicants sort of thing). Nova Cats have a more meditative style, as I recall, sort of a blending of eastern and native american. Spirit cats aren't supported as being "potheads" or whatever in the fiction, to my knowledge...their visions are more spontaneous, not induced by drugs.
In short, no, its not really supported in the history of the current fiction, at least, and I don't think its actually supported in the current. People just think they're funny. :P
More clarifications: Nova Cat visions most often come from prophetics dreams, spiritual trances, and long term fasting (and other rituals, not drugs, meant to seperate the mind from the body and bring on hallicinations)...there's basically no basis for the use of mind altering drugs in the fiction that I can find.
One more thing...specifically, the Nova Cat unique ritual called the "trial of vision" involves the following (taken from the desciption of a picture):
"Nova Cat Warriors dance before their Omnimechs in a Trial of Vision. To prepare plans for battle, they go through days of fasting, before they see visions in the flame."
So, drug-crazed hippies they are not. Crazy people who starve themselves until they start having hallucinations, and then interpret them to make strategic and tactical decisions in combat they are.
I knew there was a reason I played better when I haven't slept or eaten. :)
