That is definately a ShadowCat I in the pic. There has been a Sadow Cat II which I personally don't like the sculpt of, but I am a CBT nut and prefer the more 'classicy' mech designs.
Anyways, to put everyones questions about waht a ShadowCat I is, this is direct from my 3058 TRO, so this is official, connical information:
Shadowcat
45 Ton Omni Chassie
Speed: 6/9(12 w/MASC)/6
Pod Space: 17 Tons
Configurations:
PRIME:
Gauss Rifle (16rounds)
2 ER Medium Lasers
Active Probe
ALPHA:
2 ER Large Lasers
Streak SRM6 (30rounds)
3 DS Heat Sinks
Active Probe
BETA:
2 LRM 15 w/Artimis IV FCS (36rounds)
2 ER Medium Lasers
Guardian ECM Suit
Active Probe
Personally I wish there was either a medium 'evade' gear card or a medium JJ gear card because as far as I know, there is no way WK will put dual movement gears actually on the dial like this mech should have because of the MASC and JJ
I'd also like to point out that we might have actually seen omnis in action. The different dials on the omnis we have seen might be different loadouts for those mechs. After all, there is the Nova Cat CHARLIE which as a triple-pack of Auto Cannons instead of the Large Lasers in its one bay slot, this is the mech I'd really like to see. Basically replace the energy damage secondary on Nineball (a 4) with a balistics damage and give it a slightly better heat dial, or a 3 rank vent. That has been my main beef with AC armed mechs in this game is that in CBT they are the cool running mechs, the energy armed mechs are the ones with the heat problems, yet, House Davion seems to be getting screwed over with the SS heat dial, even though we love the autocannon, and embrace it more than most IS factions, thus our mechs are usually cooler running.

Heat is a funny thing, in this game. You're right, fluff-wise, of course, but then again, pure ballistic mechs would be too strong, with colours coming up very much later. The FedSuns does take 'heat management' to a whole new level......
