What will we as gamers demand from WK next month after they set the precedent of changing their game and company every time three dozen of us lobby for errata?
Well the problem is there was ALOT more people who wanted the situation that we are in now changed, and when wizkids just twiddled their thumbs and stuck their noses in the air at the jaded gamers, they didn't waste their time trying to fix things. They just said screw this game and company, packed up their stuff and found greener pastures.
If companies didn't listen to their consumers, we'd still have crystal pepsi, pintos, and amigos. Soon if things don't change, this game will become one of those novelties that people refer to always in the past-tense.
Everybody is complaining that Corpheus is too tough, bound sucks, where is my 26" charger...the hell...how many different pieces are in the mage knight world...umm...lets see...a #### load...no body uses their imagination anymore...why do you see ram guns and death stars...'cause soooo many people use it and that's the way too go...if you don' like it don't use it...I just played a conquest tourney...my most expensive piece was a red liege knight...I kicked Corpheus to the curb...I see this all the time, someones wins with a certain type of army...then there's 10 of those armies the week later...you win some and you lose some, yeah sure there is nothing wrong about being competitive...but you don't have to win every game...Corpheus is a reflection the the army builder...people have some incredible armies, wonderfully creative, then others are just Corpheus and the Striker, that just shows what kind of bone head you might be for buying all these boosters to use a small handfull of figures...I don't think many people even bother using all their figures...why do you have them then...you're not going to use them...Use Corpheus, I've killed him 95% of the time I've played against him...I don't see what the big deal is...you dont need one certain army type (ML/ram) to kill him, just shoot him, base him, ram him, give him some venom...be creative...after all, isn't that what this game is ultimately about. Most people have more than just a small handfull of figures, why don't you use them.
The problem Brik is that the move on factor hasnt happened yet. Geurrilla has been dominant since I left the game back in August! Thats too long for an archetype to remain the be all and end all archetype. I want to be able to use more than 10 figs out of the hundreds that exist.
