Altan I can see your point here about Shugg. but I also see his point as well. How long has Shugg and other Lions including myself been bashed for saying what turns out to be true?? Xan tells you guys a few months ago this was gonna happen. And what happens?? he gets bashed into making a undue apology and resigns from a posistion that he cared about. I come on here and say that I don't think Xan needed to apologize. And I get bashed for it. Sure I dubbed KG as drad and his merry bunch of morons. Anyone want to argue that now?? Very, very true: I just hope we can keep some of the community together here on this site. It will be interesting to read about what people are doing. MKrealms is supposed to be around as long as there are active members; could we please get some idea of what a threshold # might be and some sort of andvanced warning if postings do drop-email I guess. I still see new members on home page so let's encourage/pm them as much as possible.

P.S. I think the time for the Lions/Realms feuding should be buried. Everyone can agree they loved the game and I doubt you can get anyone to agree with every direction the game has taken. WK is a business and we are gamers so let's just go our separate ways (hopefully the gamers -together). WK can try to keep their business alive but WE must keep our game alive! I have no doubt there are more than one disgruntled WK employee at this point in time-possibly even kevin goddard if bshugg's observations are accurate.

Whether they know it or not it is over. It will not be tolerated on the site any longer, if the game of MK is to survive then this site needs to be its flag carrier, stupid pointless attacks against the membership are not needed or wanted.

Well I think that's F'ing sad and those folks need to get a FRIGGING clue. They have their own little site now where they can all pat each other on the back for being obnoxious and helping drive further into the ground what WK was already doing a number on. And they DID contribute to its downfall. I'm really tempted to go over there and see see what's being posted at the "other" site but WHY bother. It's just a heap of idiocy from a bunch of folks who have nothing better to do but complain about a game they don't even play. Then they have to let there garbage seep over here.

This post may be offensive and it may get me points, but after reading this #### from Jordan and the idiots at WK I couldn't truly care less. You've killed my game. This was the game that I truly enjoyed...one of my last links to the collectable gaming industry. I'm disgusted and outraged and hurt. Well as hurt as you can be by having a game taken away.

So THANKS to WK for screwing up the game. THANKS to the CRYBABY members of the Lions (they aren't all bad) for being the naysayers and doomspeakers they've been. And know that being right doesn't make you any less of a bunch of LOSERS.

Lastly, a true thanks to the mods at this site for running the best gaming site I've ever been to. You guys have done a great job. And a big thanks to my brothers and sisters at the DHC. Maybe you'll see me around if this venting session doesn't get me banned from the realms. WOULDN'T THAT BE APPROPRIATE!!!

Guys, please be careful about making broad stroke comments. I am a loyal member of the Lions, but still enjoy the game and try to contribute constructively to the game / Realms. If you have problems with individuals (irrespective of their clan affiliation) please address the individual versus the clan.

On a side note, I do understand where several of the Lions are coming from. I know several of them personally from our times at the cons. What drew me to the Lions was the passion they had for the game. These guys loved the game, loved to talk about it, and loved the strategy. I think several felt the development of MK was mishandled and this caused the situation we find ourselves in today. I just so happens they expressed their frustration in an "I told you so manner". I bet if things had been handled differently over the past couple of years you would find guys like Python, bshugg, etc, active and loyal participants. Just my personal take on things.

So bottomline, lets listen to everyone's take on the situation. Sure there are going to be some of our community who express their opinion in a form that many find as condesending, but every comment has a nugget of information that we should mine. Our focus going forward should be to find out how we can keep MK in some form or another alive.

I don't think we want to lose anyones' input at this point; we just want to focus, focus, FOCUS on the question at hand. Which is how do WE as a community of players carry on the game which appears to have been bequethed to us by it's creator himself if I read that announcement correctly. Hopefully ongoing discussions with WK will lead somewhere positive i.e. if they don't/can't run this game anymore some sort of control should be given to the players. The Lions are full of great players and ideas; some are a bit prideful (imagine that-who isn't). Please stop the cat-fighting; it leads nowhere and probably drives more people away. On the other hand I still see new members joining on home page so that's got to be an encouraging sign.

We are not going to get the MK Rebirth sidetracked by any feuding between the Lions and DHC. Can we please shelve that for now? The last thing we need guys and girls is to get divided and begin fighting among ourselves. We need a unified front to make this work, we need everyone's input. When it comes to MK Rebirth, forget each other's clan membership--the most important thing is keeping the game alive.

I would like to offer my self and any skill I may have to Te Realms, and any one willing to help keep mge Knight alive is forever in my prayers.....

The game has been dying a slow death since 2.0 came out I havn't had any compitition since January

When I heard both the rumor and nature of the NEXUS release (sentimental journey) with 1.0 re-releases, I knew it was the swan song.

This just might turn those 1.0 figures into value again.

I expected to see a rush to complete collections now before the availability drys out.

At first I was not going to get a case of NEXUS, but after seeing this I just called and ordered a case from my Vendor.

I believe our aim is to change that. An uphill battle to be sure but certainly worth the struggle. Our local venues will probably continue to provide space as long as we're buying something...
...and the Realms will be here as long as we're chattering.

Ok want my 2 cents. If theres a MK3.0, Im in and If your mad beacsue figures are useless and you quit because of 3.0 well then GO AWAY I still see people complaining about 2,0 (myself included but I complain about figures not retiring and such) so I want MKrealms (if it happens) to be ONLY for people who aACCULEY play the GAME and if you dont go away DONT COMPLAIN because NONE OF US who stay want to hear you COMPLAINING

They already stated that a new format would be uncompatible.
I think it's pretty vague to say maybe something will be out in two years. Why wait to see if it does come out. The idea most of us are trying to get across is that we do actually intend to keep playing this game. To that end we would like to see some form of organised structure to our gaming and we want to keep in touch with this community. I think that's the essence of our efforts now.
