If ur 1 drop is spoiler, you would have to KO your 2 drop. Or the other way around. Either way its bad news. You play a lot of equips, why no jetpack? Attack their support row for a guaranteed stun.;)
I dont want to replace 2 drop spoiler,..which is why 1 drop spoiler isnt in the deck. Having a nasty surprise on a stick does not go unnoticed by your opponent let me tell you.
The design i currently run probably draws on an average game somewhere near 12 cards. So i have to ask myself if the weapon of life gain throgh 1 drop spoiler is worth the effort. Is +10 points in any given game and a stick to hold a peice of equipment more important than a stick which can unsettle most combat situations, and also can handle most threats thrown at it early game.
Deeper, I am also looking at phantom zone projector
as a free equip. placed on Spoiler 1 I think it will see more activation than placed on spoiler 2. That said, the choice of threats seems tangible. which to choose is starting to take on a meta influence.
Because I run 1 Flame trap in the deck I am probably going to end up with Spoiler 2 to due to the influence of evasion. Toss her a utility belt and she thing can't take it away. That is pretty good in my eyes.
Ok, it seems to me that since DSM came out, Batman - The Dark Knight has become HUGE.
Anyone care for some Commander in chief on Batman action?
President Lex can be a totally drawing monster. here is a deck I have thrown together off the top of my head, so it may be a bit rough.
8 x GCPD
4 x Alfred
4 x Atomic skull
2 x Commish
4 x President Lex
1 x Eradicator
3 x The Dark Knight
1 x Superman = BBBS
1 x Doomsday
1 x Onslaught
1 x Imperiex
3 x Toy Soldiers
3 x Concrete Jungle
3 x Bad Press
3 x Marvel Team Up
3 x Worlds Finest
3 x State of the Union
2 x Hidden Surveilance
4 x Bat Signal
3 x Pleasant Distraction
2 x Fizzle
2 x Detective Work
2 x Overload
Basically the idea is to let the cops take the brunt of the initial attack whilst build up the resource row with ongoing pt's. Atomic skull works ridiculously well with the ongoing pt/lex engine. The president must be recruited at three to get the most out of this, and he must be kept alive.
Im not sure about the later drops, I just threw them in. If this goes off, I very much doubt your will need anything other than TDK. I threw in Eradicator as a safeguard against TT and Loa (who I think will be big soon). The PT's help to slow down our opponent. Alfred ensures we can get the Ongoings into our resource row.
Ive been playing gotham ff recently im still tweaking it but when its done it will be able to handle any deck type whether it be rush stall or w/e if my deck gets to where i want it look out my friend anthony gave me some good tips all im saying is cosmic radiation is pimp

Nope. It'll never work......It'll never work........It'll never work.....
Kamiza:
i really like your idea and i agree with you that TDK deserves more love!
However,i have a question on your build:How can you be so sure that you will ALWAYS get luthor on turn 3 since you don't play Revenge Pact?
Since you're only playing Atomic Skull on the lower drop, the probability to team up on turn 2 is quite weak so you won't always be able to Bat Signal for Luthor...
I really think that at least 2 copies of Revenge Pact should be in your build.
How have been going the playtesting so far??

Well, the build I posted here performed terribly, so I changed it quite a bit and came up with some positive results with TDK running in on turn 7 bigger than superman.
For more details, check my journal. A full report and deck list is posted there.
Originally posted by CosmicSpider I grew up with Batman so I'm playing a Gotham Deck.
Gotham is like the X-Men: you have to figure out what will and won't work.
Except that in the end, Xmen will work and Gotham will well.................lets just say reek of inviability.
Don't get me wrong, I play Gotham, just it doesnt work well. People have found ways to make Xmen good on its own.:)

Problem is, that X-men needed a few cards that weren't on their team, namely puppet master and Mimic. GK is an awesome team up deck, and like X-men, their time will come.

Now that DGL is spoiled, can the new Azrael make Gotham Curve a viable deck? Something about a 16-14 Batman that leads into the Boy Scout tells me this makes mono-Gotham absolutely playable.
I would think Grayson, HFA can keep Sents in check for a little while until the big hitters come out. I'm going back to the drawing board with Gotham curve again with this set. I'm not sure if Blood In the Dark is worth running yet though, it just needs testing.
After including the cards from DGL, gotham knight kicks ass now. With Batgirl 3 drop, birthing chamber, mystic chain and 6 drop grayson, you can have an ENORMOUS hand by turn 7. I run 2 Azbats and 1 TDK. Gotham equip decks are prime to hit Tier 1. The Batman rules the streets again!
