Been testing mono-Injustice gang against CS for a little bit. Here's some notes that I came across:
-You NEED Abra on turn 5 or (if you have evens) turn 6. Otherwise, you lose.
-You can miss IQ, but you need at least one or two Criminal Masterminds OR Lex (who is just ridiculous).
-You'll need a backup to the burn strategy. I'm personally running 4 Two-Face with 4 All too Easy. At the very least, I can stun a guy with a 2 drop and ko it with the Satellite (which is just powerful board control anyway. Try flinging Lex or Joker into Bastion with an All too Easy...Yeah. It hurts.)
-Null Time Zone does jack against this deck. Lex rules.
-Finishing move would actually be good against IG if they didn't have stupid defensive pumps. Even if you play around it, IG loves Rise from the Grave anyway simply because maintaining their board is a must.
-Lex. Luthor. Rules.
-Missing your curve SHOULD be unheard of with 4 of each main drop and 4 Secret Files, but it can happen early game. You'll have to learn to play without IQ out sometimes. Joker actually isn't a necessity as long as you have Lex Luthor and some defensive tricks.
Of course, this is just the mono build. THere are better ways of going about this strategy, but the fact that this deck can beat CS even if it curves 1-6 shows a LOT of potential.
And I still need to test against Teen Titans. Seems like they almost auto-win against the gang. :/
In theory, yes, Injustice Gang burn shows for a lot of potential, as long as the meta sticks with basic aggro curve. Off curve may prove to be an issue though, it's hard to say.
But don't you think there is too much to be around to cause the burn? You need IQ on 2 and at least 1 Criminal Mastermind? Turn 3 Lex is almost a MUST. Abra is not exactly the case since he is later part.
I saw the same problem with IG I just can think how they beat titans. Unless you are playing against a bad titans player who is greedy for cards. They should stun Lex after 1 draw at the most.

No, not really. You'd be surprised how powerful rise from the grave is, especially past turn 4 when it makes even finishing move completely irrelevent. Who cares if you are losing 8-9 endurance when it's saving a guy that can either tap guys or burn the opponent for 5+ a turn? Plus it almost always makes the opponent waste their one PT for the turn due to lex.
Even if you miss Lex, Cronos+doom with reign of terror is ridiculous. ;)
Honestly, as long as you can reign away some of the titans board, i'm not even sure as to how threatening they will be. Requires more testing though.
Of course, this is all mentioning doom because IG has absolutely nothing that can actually handle the titans on their own. Floronic Man also doesn't really count, so bleh. ;P
Dawn, do you think JLA ally can escape the clutches of Injustice Gang? The Kator Hol power-up to reduce hand through Shayera? Early power-ups with all the PT available?
The advantage with running doom in IJ is the ability to also run Boris, which can allow you to toolbox certain cards.
If JLA proves threatening, the deck can run a copy of unmasked, which basically locks up the opponent's hand during combat anyway (it's one of the only ways CS can lessen the damage it takes by the IJ characters, and it dramatically improves the matchup against lost city).
Fine. If it's GA, there are definitely enough rush decks to put the game beyond doubt by turn 6. If it's DCMA, then I feel JLA may just have enough synergy to beat the burn.

Given that the IG deck runs Unmasked, I tend to doubt it.
During my playtesting, JLA is treatning indeed. It holds all 5 main things a deck should have in order to be competitve:
1:Power in stats
This deck sure has power in it.With hawkman on turn 4 as a 9/9 thanks to the nth metal hawkgirl got for you on turn 3, I think thats pretty solid.Thats not all, on turn 5 you have Steel that can be brought as a 11/11 with the help of a atlantian trident. Not only it gives him power but also a 1/1 counter everytime he stuns a character.Again hawkgirl can search for this equipment. It may look hard and unstable but its not.Playtest them and you will see.
2:Tutoring(searchable cards)
We have many stuff that can help us hit our curve.Hero's welcome is our main curve fixer in the deck, also hawkgirl can be a tutor as well for either your 4 drop or your equipment.Watchtower is another but then again its all up to you.Play testing will tell
3:drawing
JLA has many ways of drawing, we have magnificent seven which can help us draw cards at the beggining and help with out main them,Firestorm is a choice but the reason I dont play him is because its too costy his efect,he is good but you can actually use his efect like 3 times and no more and I rather play more power,Justice league signal device can help us gain an extra card with a bit of luck
4:Board control
JLA has also control over board with really cool exhausting efects, Dinah Laurel Lance <> Black Canary can help you get out of that hound lock your opponent has you on and also can help you get out of sticky situacions. They also have a drop that can do out of combat stuns on turn 5 at a small cost of power him up.Again you can search for a nth metal with hawk girl and place it on him.
5:Metagame Tech
If you think unmasked is gonna ruin your day then think again.Monitor womb station is here to help againts cards like NTZ,Nasty surprise, unmasked, heroes in reserve, call down from the lighning.Another good tech is the ability to protect your self againts efect that target you like Terra, roy,no man escape the manhunters, ext. with Ray palmer, he may seem not that good but then you realized that you just saved your character from an efect and you a free discard for other efects(which is him).Having trouble beating condition winning decks like xaviers dream or rigged elections well then elongated man can help take down those ongoing plot twist and locations.Lets not forget characters like batman that can help you stop things combat plot twist.
In general, I have playtested JLA since the spoler came up on VS Online and they are solid enough for a tornament.Don't let other people eat your brain with their comments.Remember they said avengers sucked at the beggining and now look at them. They are the first people playing them.
---I have a solid JLA Built ,if you need help with them I'll be glad to help ya out---
Fallen Hero: Thanks for the words. I personally feel that the deck is way too pack to add more equipment other than Nth Metal and JLA Signal Device. I personally have made 1 but am unable to find the extra space for a Trident. I am playing Firestorm and I feel that you are quite right to say that you cannot use more than 3 times or it will deplete you of more than 1/5 of your END which is costly.
I would like to know more about your deck, you may want to post it back here or PM me directly. It's all up to you.:)
Luffy:You only need 1 trident in the deck, Hawkgirl can search it for you and dont be afraid to discard it to fetch for other stuff with her, after all steel can equip trident from KO Pile as well, Im still playtesting to find the final deck list for the deck but I could gladly post the beta version:
Magnificent seven By Edwin(AKA FaLLeN HeRo)
3 connor hawke<> Green arrow
4 Ray Palmer<>The atom
3 Superman- avatar of peace
4 Katar hol<>Hawkman
4 Shayera Thal<>hawkwoman
3 Dinah Laurel Lance<>Black canary
3 Eloganted man-Ralph Dibny
4 John Henry Irons<>Steel
3 Oliver Queen<>Green Arrow
3 Batman-avatar of justice
4 Hero's Welcome
4 Magnificent seven
4 Reform the league
3 Cover Fire
4 Monitor Womb Station
4 Nth Metal
2 Justice League Signal Device
1 Atlantian Trident
The reason this deck MUST run monitor womb station is because of Unmasked. If your opponent unmasked you on a game, its really hard to win.Don't be sure that avengers can win easily. This deck gives a hell of a fight to avengers and I have seen it personally.Monitow womb station can shut down:Heroes in reserve, call down from the ligning.Eloganted man can take out that avengers mansion thats been bothering you.Your characters are motly Huge always.Shayera is a must on turn 3 if you want your deck to play smoothly the rest of the game.On turn 6 you most of the time have steel as a 12/12 plus your 6 drop, so your opponent would have to attack up the curve in order to stun.Be careful againts decks that can KO equips, it may seem a problem but you can still give them a fight.I usually drop Oliver queen<>green arrow againts TT,Stunning out of combat can be helpful. Also a awesomely good card would be "Teleport tube"If your opponent is fool enogh to let your character attack and then use efects like Roy or terra durring the attack, Teleport tube can save you from that efect and give you another shot at the attack. That is huge!!It creates a big advatage on you side.Don't Let other people eat your brain telling you to play a meta(like avengers) or dont wait for pro's to create a deck an win with them so the you can copy play it...Always play your style
IMO, you just made Shayera's job tougher. She not only has to look for Katar, Nth Metal, she has to look for Trident now as well. As far as my build is concern, I don't really need MWS as Unmasked is not really played nowadays. It does have an advantage against Avengers deck.
You dont need trident in hand, you need it in KO pile so you can discard it with shayera again to search for whatever you need. Also you mostly do it in turn 4 where you can power up the most
