To tell you the truth, I've never heard that kind of interpretation of the Chariot. The interpretations I've heard always have to do with control---the Chariot is powerful, but bridled. Card 8 is Strength, which can be unleashed, but the Chariot is defined by power which is guided by will. Because of this emphasis on control, rather than instinct, it could even be interpreted as rising above temptations.
Mean Green Machine would be funny, and Two-Face actually makes a lot of sense given the black/white balance usually seen on the Chariot's art. I think Mobius Chair/Metron fits the card pretty well thematically, too. They're potentially powerful, but not because they exert force---because they exert control. And imagine the horsepower on that chair.

Yeah, I'll be honest. These are advanced meanings from the recesses of stu's warped imagination and they don't stay true to tradition. They do still work, and I agree with both Two-Face and the Mobius Chair wholeheartedly. The beauty of Tarot, and prolly the reason it is the strongest living cross-cultural symbolic system of its kind, is the fact that it can survive radical evolution fully intact.
