I mean it in the sense of DSM vs MAV.

Avengers has been the best desgined VS set ever with 3 of the 5 Teams being tier 1 / 1.5

Faces (TBolts/MoE)
Squad Supreme
Avengers Reservist
Kangtrol/Kang City

Uhh.. aren't those are called boxes. . . 24 packs, 8 players, 3 packs/player. . . I'm just sayin's all.

Something tells me the performance of the IndyClix Heroclix set (same mechanics and rough power levels as Marvel/DC, but due to the character selection, sales were in the toilet) will scare UDE away from an Indy VS set.

Indy HeroClix didn't fail because of a lack of characters. It failed because they were all the same. Almost every single click had some combination of stealth, supersenses, and blades.

Well it depends how you define a tier 1 deck.

For me a tier 1.5 deck is basiclly a tier 1 one deck that depends heavily on the skill of the person playing it, where a tier 1 deck is not as dependant on skill.

So the MAV teams in order are:

1. Avengers Reservist
2. Squadron Supreme
3. Masters of Evil (FOE is mostly MOE with a few Thunderbolts)
4. Kang
5. Thunderbolts

Anyway back to the topic at hand, what could be so cool as to repalce the superman starter ?, so far an Indy set seems like the most viable.

Heck, to me, Thunderbolts are incredibly viable.

IndyClix was definitely not a failure of liscence. Especially considering how "in demand" the British exclusives were.

The problem was that it would be like if EVERY team in the Indy VS set was heavily focused on concealed and attack negation. With big defenses.
