I think UDE should encourage (AKA offer EA's and such) to more structured tournaments. Not like Hobby League, but local events that are run at the store ownership/TO level that have the same feel in terms of competitivness as a PCQ but less prize support.

Local tournament support in the form of EAs for the winner is a great idea.

Product for prize support of local tournies is also worth consideration, though probably less likely to happen...

People don't jump into a game to play in State Championships so I believe its something UDE can get behind.

You know... your store doesn't HAVE to run Hobby League exactly as outlined. It's a guideline.

I don't know of any store that uses up ALL the Hobby League EAs they order so they might as well run some tournaments with the leftover stuff.

All my HL stuff is used for draft and constructed tournament prizing. People like to draft more knowing that they will at least get an EA.

How bout a player's lounge at the PC like they did at PTLA? Pinball machines, video games, sandwiches, etc...

The Sealed Pack would use a new set of packs each time. So there could be up to 3 sessions of building.

Silver Age would use the same deck used on Day 1

Golden Age would use the same deck usedon Day 3.



As for the drama....... I love everyone....... it's just that i have 0.1% love for some and 100.0% for others.......and the amount of love changes drastically and rapidly....

I love it, but I want it taken a step further. They fly all eight of them expense-paid to some Pacific Island or something like the other game does. Finland maybe.
