I know what I would rather spend 2 card slots on :p
Except the discard for snikt is a character that you will have in your deck anyway. I mean, there are so many uses for a dead one drop on turn 3 or later.

It nevertheless costs you two cards. You can get much more functionality out of two cards than that.
You can't argue that the discard would just be a useless Xmen character card that you couldn't do anything else with when the Xmen have LOTS of engines that need discards to feed them including Cerebro and Worthington.
+4Atk when attacking or defending would be very nice if it cost you one card, but it doesn't. As such you have to look at what else you could do instead with two cards. I can think of many cards that provide more than half the functionality of a Snikt and would use any of them over it.
Well argued Sam Sam.
Furthermore, Xmen generally have a lot of discard effects already so the chances of you being able to just pitch useless dead 1 drops will be few and far between.
If you're calling 1 drops dead after turn 3 you're obviously not playing an off-curve deck. In that case why are you playing 1 drops at all?
Snikt is not a bad card but it is not playable given its stamping to X-Men. Anyone worth their salt will tell you that.
I apologise about before. You do have your Points. I'm sure having 2 PC pts really qualifies.
