As with every PC or 10K todate, people assume that what they read on Metagame's match reports are absolute gospel and a 110% factual representation of what happened. Don't assume people have illegal decks or are making illegal plays based purely on what you read on the internet - however entertaining those reports are.

I just assumed that there was a typo as well. I don't think anyone would let Neil Reeves play with a 59 card deck.

That last pod was brutal for Batow. MJ played his way into a top 8 after a subpar (by his standards, I imagine) Day 1. Prosack drafted like a stud, too.

The Shadowpact/Checkmate.....leaves me....wondering. Is it just me, or did Edwin just get into the most impossible top 8 for him? At least half the deck can auto-kill the King.

He doesn't seem to have a way to protect him. Cloak will protect against Deadshot, but not an HQ'd Fatality.

Is it me, or does Vidi not top 8 if Eisenhard uses the 2nd Mystical Binding on Deathstroke, or doesn't even use the 2nd Mystical Binding? Lucky.

You're right, but Vidi wasn't lucky. I am sure there will be games where all the other t8ers won through a mistake their opponent made and it shouldn't be any less significant because it happened in round 3 or whenever - they all count. This is how a large percentage of games are won.

If they both played that turn perfectly Vidi wouldn't be in the top 8, but it's not his fault Eisenhard made the mistake.
