Deck was designed to beat off curve decks (Squadren was very dominent at that time) - also we found that Lost City best curve (Avengers used to be a bad matchup, but Anne-Marie Cortez solves that problem). Hope it helps JVIRTUE55

You want to know what the best deck is? Look at what tdc plays every format and change two cards based on metagame. There you go, very easy.

PI has Injustice Gang and Arkham Inmates.

However, with Infinite Crisis brings the Checkmate Safe houses. UN Building would then, at best, be a sixth team-up [after 4 safe houses and a copy of the Thunderbolts location team-up]

Also with Frankie Raye and a few other off team choices in there, you might want to team one of them up at least.

In Migga who would you sub out for the 4 drop mystique im not sure I have four of her from the stupid starters and the 6 drop is the new or old six drop?

I am not disputing you, but can you explain why it never wins the championship? Are those two cards THAT important?

Sure... two cards can make all the difference, especially in the hyper-search format that is Golden Age. In this deck's case, the two cards would be "Rann" over Thrangar (Galactus can stun Ra's) and fit in a SupermanHunter (their deck was not susceptible to death by Meph, so this would effectively stop Prozak's deck).

If their deck had these changes they would probably have won.

With that said, there is plenty of room to dispute whether it's going to be the long-term favorite. I certainly see location/ongoing hate becoming more predominant (it's good vs every deck in the top 8, and random decks like Migga City and TNB as well) and with SMH being a popular toolbox card, the deck will need non-cosmic ways of "finishing" opponents. But there are plenty of these available. All in all the format is somewhat open; odds are the deck that ends up on top is the one that can best abuse Frankie Raye while "avoiding the hate".
