And I hear no one has ever liked thug, and has always treated his posts like jokes, so why change now? And for that matter, if he was banned, and has another account, isn't that against the rules? And being upset is often equated with being emotional.

Being emotional about misuse of the word "emo" ... well ... I don't even need to explain how people can lable that as being "emo".

At this point ... people are just going to keep needling you to see if you continue to 'get UPSET' by their apparent misuse of the word 'emo'.

So if you feel Golden Age should be banned what do you want the Format to be for those 4 months?

Once again I am left dumbfounded as to why this thread is still popular, when the most intelligent and interesting topic on realms exists HERE.

Bardian, do you know what the word "connotation" means? I'm going to assume that you do. To most people, the word "emo" isn't used for it's literal definition. It is used in reference to the type of music and type of people that seem to be drawn to it. Most people think these "emo" people deserve to be mocked (and I happen to agree. If Butter's from South Park can point out how pathetic you are, you have issues.).

Therefore you actually were being an idiot in your first post. You were telling them they were using a word incorrectly when you simply didn't understand how they were using it.

So the other night my brother and I were playing a game of Defense of the Ancients. For those of you who don't know, DotA is a Warcraft 3 custom map. Each side has 5 players who each pick a hero out of 82 and attempt to destroy the other sides base. Along the way you make money and buy equipment.

One particular hero goes by the name of Abaddon. Now, with 82 heroes in this game you see a lot of specialty heroes. Some are support heroes, some are nukers, some are assassin heroes etc. Abaddon is not good at anything except staying alive. As such, he's quite good at tanking in huge assaults. Because of this, when an individual dies with Abaddon - unless he was ganked - it is seen as a tremendous sign of nubdom.

So last night, this Abaddon and my brother were in a lane against one other opposing hero when the hero killed Abaddon. Obviosly the entire team called him on his mistake. Our friend here Abaddon proceeded to pull a Bardian and started crying about how we were #####ing about him and threaten to feed the enemy - intentionally suicide one's own hero to enrich and level opposing heroes - if we didn't shut up.

Now, if you haven't noticed by now TDB is the ultimate e-thug. I swear when I get on the net, I'm like Tupac. So, I obviously tell this individual: "Cry more! Go ahead, feed. Who cares."

Now, obviously, senior emo butt hurt proceeds to feed the enemy repeatedly. The opposing team quickly outlevels us and we're getting owned. While we are obviously upset at this chain of events, we don't cry about it. All the meanwhile, Abaddon is feeding the enemy and buying items for them.

The curious thing though is that we are occassionally getting kills. Slowly, as the game progresses our superior team work is letting us slowly even up the score. Eventually, we're even able to go on the offensive. About 40 minutes to the game we are owning their hero and Abaddon leaves. I have this replay saved because it is probably the most hilarious and awesome game of DotA I have ever played.

What's the moral of this story? Simple, emo cry babies always lose. Not to mention that fact that you are able to ruin a single thread is pretty meaningless, since we can create threads faster then you can destroy them. You are also acting incredibly emo and justifying all the things we've said about you. Worse comes to worse this thread will be closed. Life goes on.

I highly recommend you leave realms to do your nails and listen to My Chemical Romance.

Okay... I need to get this out of the way:

1. Bardian may be BackAgain and may be an emo.
2. youhavereallylongscreennames may be thug and may be a people killer.
3. Golden Age may be broken and may be the best format for VS.

Number 3 is my segue back on topic but I really don't see a problem with Golden Age. It's not restricted to just Titans/Sentinels like it used to be and if Moloids was really broken... uh... what happened to them at PCLA?

Golden Age is the preferred format among casuals and it seems also pros. The bigger the cardpool gets, the more interesting it becomes. Will it get unwieldly? Probably. Will it produce broken decks? Sure. But UDE is always there with the BanHammer so I'm not worried about it.

Lists are emo.

And who is BackAgain...it's not the first time I've seen that name.
