Jonesy, why are you giving away our tech, lol! jk Anyway, Ryan and I built our versions of Tim's equipment deck, and it's quite good (you can draw most of your deck by turn 6-7), especially with PRESS THE ATTACK (insane!) being available now. With the back-up guys, you can go nuts with a Fated Alan Scott on turn 4 behind a Sarge Steel... brutal. Also, with so much draw, sometimes you can go without dropping Ahmed on 3, and can opt for Arthur Kendrick or Chris Smith instead, which makes Alan Scott on turn 4 even more effective. Also, we tested a Checkmate/Brotherhood, and it really brought back old memories of the Origins days and how Lost City decks were really tough to play against, lol.
Tim Batow built a very similar deck for us to play at PC:Sydney, and it was a phenomenal deck. The only rares in the deck were Enemy and Stargate.
While Stargate definitely needs to be replaced (probably just by a full set of Penal Colony) you actually gain a card in the transition to Golden: Cover Fire. As it turns out, The Infamous Seven wsa by far the best card in the Silver deck, and Cover Fire is twice as good.
I will go out on a limb and say that this deck is likely format warping, as there are essentially 8 autobricks and it avoids natural hate for the format in the form of Mikado and various equip hate. You really don't have to worry about Ahmed getting KOd, which is a huge plus. Because Vicarious Living sucks, I would strongly suggest some amount of Connie Webb, simply to ensure Ahmed.
Edit: Morlocks seem terrible. If all the good budget aggro decks remain intact, then evading your characters wont help much. Last stand alone isn't good enough for a team that is only good in 30 card decks, especially when you can't search for it - and i doubt 4 bloodhound will be enough to support a very specific curve.
I don't see how Titans has any chance at all. They lose 3 of their most important rares that make the deck viable.
Now that depends...If you fate up 4 drop Bart Allen and take into consideration some of the new PT's they got, you could end games on turn 4. Put certain characters hidden and thy can't attack this game. Fine, sub them out, tap to Bart Allen to ready, press the attack enough times and win. Granted, seeing all the cards you need by turn 4 might be pushing it...but still, its fun :D
