The Mr. Fantastic is the one from mun so I can rally for the pt then exhaust for gauntlet, I don't run anything over 5 because, from my play testing, I don't need to. Just because by the time I get my uses out of the gauntlet the only other decks that can hurt are army decks, so then I stop using gauntlet and boost submariner and exhaust 5-6 guys and give him the counters and take out one of their guys to reinforce with then I just keep swinging. So far I can beat hulk with ease, but my only troubles as of right now are the army guys.

Yes, army shield because even though they get exhausted when they come into play, I still take damage.

Yes in my decklist it shows 2x 5 drop iron man. He is sooooo essential to the build since illuminati has trouble with higher drops.

I keep looking at every built of the gaunlet and none seem to be good. So I came up with the idea of my own gaunlet deck. But my version is the counter built version where most of the character would be adjacent to Iron Man, Mighty Avenger.And also having Professor X,the 2 drop with extra recover character.And having Mr.Fantastic the MEX one with the bonus attacking a low cost give him -4/+4 and attacking a high cost give him +4/-4.He really helps a lot having him next to Iron man building his counter. The one drop would be Black Bolt the best out of the Infinite Watcher. The 5 drop would be Sub-Mariner and the 6 drop would be Dr.Strange the MVL.But I run other various drop of the Forgotten Six just incase I miss the combo of the whole deck at least I have a back up plan to play the Gauntlet.I run most draw card cards because the lack of not hitting the card that you really needed really sucks.

I don't see how your build is the end all.

To used the Gauntlet over and over against to destroy your opponent hands first then used build the counter of my character to get them bigger.

How are you pulling that off? You need to team up with F4 to abuse Dr. Strange on 6. Throw in a generic team-up and you have yourself a combo. I would even use a location team-up so that is one extra thing that you may hit with Dr. Strange (2 drop).

You need a way to finish just in case they KO your board. Lots of deck are packing more and more hidden hate as well as Pathetic Attempt. Gauntlet loses if you don't play Omnipotence.

It's a nice idea, but combo decks NEED to not have their combo stopped or they simply lose. You may even need replace effects to get rid of other Omnipotence's. If they call Gauntlet, you have nothing to do for the rest of the game, but lose.

I only used Dr.Strange effect with Mr.Fantastic only they are the only two Fantastic Four character in the deck I could use them two to used The Eletrak Situation or some other card that require two exhaustion from Illumati.

The Illumiati is terrible, supposedely - I think there's still a lot of potential but gloving them is definitely not the way to go : (
