So since the stay-at-home order started, I've started playing Jackbox Party Pack games with friends and family remotely.
If you're not familiar, the Jackbox games are party games (trivia games, pictionary type games, bluffing and mad lib type games). Fairly casual, pretty fun.
The way they work is you have the game screen on a TV or computer, and then everyone uses their phones/tablets as controllers to connect to the game to select the write answer, draw the prompt, or vote, etc.
I've been playing with people far away over Discord. I stream the game screen (and also have audio/video chat) on a Discord server, and then people use their phones at home to connect to the games and play. I don't think this was the original intention but it kind of works out great with remote players.
Would anybody be interested in having an HCR Mafia game night? Most of the games are 8 players. It might be fun to put voices/faces to screen names.
My family is doing this too! Our favorites are Tee KO and Quiplash 2.

Would totally be down with this idea!
Preferences are Quiplash and Murder Trivia Party.

I'd love to have another reason to play these!

I have Jackbox Party Packs 1 through 5 and Drawful 2, so those are all on the table.
The other cool thing about Discord is that anyone on the channel can share their screen, so if someone has another game they'd like to play we can do that too.
Anybody want to play this weekend? I'm still under a stay-at-home order so I'm pretty flexible. Let's say maybe Saturday tentatively? Friday or Sunday would also work.
WAIT I just remembered that this Saturday is actually really inconvenient for me. But Friday and just about any following Saturday should be fine.
It sounds like we will have more people than can actively play, so you missing out on a Saturday is probably fine. If it works out well we can probably plan for future days as well.
