As someone who plays exclusively home games, ALL of my figures are basically Legacy Figures.... so it's pretty much a non-issue for me. I think it's a cool concept though, and am happy for those who like this idea.
Good idea in theory, but in practice? Just more money-making. Collectible cards in an already collectible miniature game? These will be expensive AF on the secondary market.
I never managed to get that Invisible Woman (best sculpt EVER), always way too expensive for an old figure I'll probably never use... Now the price can only go up since it's "usable" again. Plus you also need to buy the card.
I wish they updated these figures via Print and Play instead. Most figures really. But they wouldn't make money off this, so...
I guess we all assumed there'd be "at least 57" Legacy Cards due to Invisible Woman's code L057. But I take it from Scott Porter's video that there are only 8 Legacy Cards. The numbers just correspond to the original set's number. Morg was 029, and Thing was 038.
Trait:Marvels 1st Family
When a Thing heals from Fantastic Four T.A. After resolutions remove a token & modify values +1 until the end of your next turn.
Damage:Had enough Clobbering Yet?
Sidestep, CCE.
When an opposing character takes damage from Thing's close attacks after resolutions choose one: Deal that character 1 unavoidable damage or make 1 close attack targeting that character. (reactivate each hit)?
They say the best weapon is one you never have to fire. I respectfully disagree. I prefer the weapon you only have to fire once. That's how Dad did it, that's how America does it, and it's worked out pretty well so far." Robert Downey/Tony Stark
So this is a cool concept. But not updating the point value and combat values means there is 0% chance I will ever touch these way overpriced dials.
I would agree, the only one that seems worth is The Thing. But you still have to pull off his special to constantly attack. One crit miss away from sinking 140 points into a figure that can get KOed in one turn.
