I don't know about Scrye, but I know Inquest gets a lot of stuff wrong when it comes to stats and powers and TAs on Clix. Maybe that smoke cloud is really Energy Explosion, or Quake, or something else. I won't complain really, but SC seems kinda weird for Punisher to have for that long on his dial.
WOW this is a great fig. To those who don't believe Punisher doesn't deserve outwit...I can kinda agree with you guys, But like Gacy's Clown has been saying "read one of his books" I have a lot of his books. ANd I do agree that he isn't the smartest person in the world, but he plans things out. He doesn't always run into a room with his guns blaz'n without a plan. He usually gets the idea of the location on who he is going to hit and he plans how and so I believe it is justified. As for his smoke cloud...Yes it is useless but he does use it. In some cases he does use gas grenades to protect himself. But they do make him really good
Heres to hoping that LE Frank Castle has the Spider-Man TA with EE in place of Smoke cloud though!!!

I really hope you're right and that SC is really EE in disguise for now. I'm not sure what Punisher ever did that would create a cloud of smoke, I don't think he was ever well known for using smoke bombs or anything, but I could be wrong. Or that could just be how the designers liked to create him...as smoke bomb Frank.
I dont see how a guy with an 11 AV and RCE got hosed myself... Even with Smoke Cloud, ill definetly play him, if it turns out to be a mistake, then even better...
Btw. There is a legitimate chance, that its a mistake. Didnt Scrye have Rocket Red as a JSA member?
Third Place Winner, Boneyards Contest. Huzzzah!
Finallly, Guy Gardner has Arrived in the world of Heroclix! Galactus, Fin Fan Foom, and Spectre beware!
What an awful dial for an even more awful character.
this night our journey's through the dark. kill the switch, a welcome comatose. tonight we journey through the darkness. as in sorrow, so shall ye weep. as in reason, so shall ye sleep.
Too bad the vet has vet Kraven syndrome: 80 points for a 6 click fig, but he seems like a ton of fun to play in all incarnations. I will probably play the R the most, and perhaps the exp to a lesser degree. The Vet has a nice starting click and good attack and damage, and the superman-esque DV spike is nice, but no starting damage reduction, and 6 clicks will be an easy 80 points to some brick charger with an object. Stealth will protect him some, but the low move, low DVs, and short dial are his liabilities. On the plus side, he has a good starting AV, great damage potential, the always useful willpower, and the outwit/toughness combo at the end, which could be a pain in the butt if played right (as those who play Vet Cap may already know).

I like the fig, but as for accuracy, I don't see the 11 attack. Wizkids had sort of set a precedent of 9 being where a human tops out at. There are a few exceptions, like vet Bullseye and his 11, but his damage is 1+ RCE, a lot more balanced and accurate. With that 11, they just made punisher a "better fighter" then the current Cap and REV Batman??? Just don't buy that.
I also don't see the 3 damage on him. Punisher has a click of 3 damage, but Spiderman (who can lift 10 Tons, and has Super Strength in Clix) does not?
Don't get me wrong, I think the figure will definatley be useful, but I'm not sure he has be represented accuratley. I'll probably target the rookie and the exp, and use the vet for trade fodder. I like comic accuracy, and he's a little over-kill to be. Deadly and nasty to be sure, but an attack of 9 (or even 10) on the vet and no click of 3 base damage, would have been more accurate.
I also think there may be a little overkill on the outwit. 1 or 2 clicks would have been sufficiant, but that doesn't bother me as much as an 11 attack.
"Surrender? Surrender?! Do you think this letter on my forehead stands for FRANCE?!"

They need a new power that allows Punisher to trap all the enemy clix in a booby-trapped high rise with him. And Punisher is hooked up to some killswitch thing that detonates the building if he's killed. Now THAT would be an accurate representation of the character.
I like it. Seems pretty accurate to me, except for the strangely missing EE. Hopefully this is a mess up by Scrye, but we'll see. Smoke is okay for him, as he does use Gas Grenades, but EE is more his style.
AV's tend to represent aggresiveness in combat as much as skill, so the 11 is very suitable on the Vet. As for all the damage, it's easily accounted for in all the weaponry he packs.
I like it. Should be fun to play.
And I really don't think he's better than E Bats. Higher AV and range yes, but the Outwit is at the end, and not at the same time as his stealth and WP, which is what really makes Bats shine. Not to mention, he has a much shorter dial than Batman. Exp Batman would easily beat Vet Punisher 9 times out of 10...as it should be.
Christ did not come to condemn the world, but to save it.
Smoke Cloud would be passable playwise if it was on his first click. If it was EE I wouldn't have a problem with it starting on his second... but I'm doubting they messed it up. Bummer. He'll still be fun for the occasional game.
I want a Wally, Jay, Bart, Tornado Twins, Jesse Quick, Max Mercury ALL-FLASH book!
