who would the AE be ?

I'm hoping for a super badass Colossus, too, because I love the guy. The thing is, though, the Ultimate version doesn't really have the 'Colossus Skin Lines' that the regular U has. He's always been completely smooth and gleaming.

Not that I mind. Even easier to pretend it's the regular universe Colossus. THAT IS SUPER GREAT SUPER GREAT!

Can someone please send me the Xorn, Ultimate Colossus, and Vindicator pictures to me and any new stats from the Ultimates set besides Mr. Sinister, please!!! I would appreciate it! My email is: [email protected]

We'll have to see how well they look in real life. If Marvel sets actually start looking good, all Marvel-only clixer's will have only the stats and the cool abilities to complain about....

Now, with WK doing stuff with Alpha Flight, I'll be interested in Marvel once again. Granted, its an odd numbered set, so its reverse Star Trek logic for Marvel Heroclix sets, we'll have to see how bad they screw up the following set after this one to see if they've broken their pattern of good set/bad set/good set/bad set.

Yeah turdburglar, I was expecting U Collossus to not have the metal segment lines also. Kubert always drew him as just shiny skin all over (like th movie version) in keeping with their more 'realistic' take on them.

He did appear with the lines in Ultimate War though (and a couple of fill in issues). That artist (whose name is escaping me at the moment....Humberto something or other) seemed to not realise the difference in appearance, which really annoyed me. And more annoying that the Clix looks like the it's based on his pics, not Kubert's. Pretty sure that the submarine issue was drawn by him as well.

Oh, and I am ROYALLY peeved that Heather is in the set without an Alpha Flight TA. Instead we get the carbon copy Ult X-men team and Morlocks! For crying out loud Wizkids, give us some REAL teams, and stop trying to #### up to the "ever-popular X-men" fans.

Sorry...had to gripe.

Man, Ultimate Colossus should be a monster. A lot of Impervious down the dial then invulnerability. This guy is just plain incredibly durable!

At least 4 damage with super strength. I say a 140 - 150 point figure. Waaay more powerful than normal Colossus.

I've said this in a couple posts already, and people have said it a dozen times here, too, but I hope Colossus kicks booty! His sculpt looks pretty cool, and from what I've read of Ult. X-Men (which admitedly was only the Return of the King story), he's going to be bad-arse. And I'm crossing my fingers for no activation click.

I do have to agree with you though. Having 2 new TA which are wastes is stupid. As least with Unleashed, it was two abilities that were new and unique, and one very useful ability (KC) and one so-so ability, depending on how many figures are released with it (SS)

My only hope is that there are at least 2 more Alpha Flight figures in the set, so at least you've got 3 AF figures to play if you want to play theme. Only 2 Suicide Squad members makes it difficult to build a SS team, its more like a partnership then.
