Agreed. With the dials on the front or back, or even without the dials, I don't like the appearance of the new cards. They're just not that nice-looking, and the current ones are fine.

Do they need to do it for a whole set? Do it for Fast Forces sets and/or Gravity Feeds. Things that are a major big box release to get people into the game.

Do you think it would cause confusion if there were different card layouts and styles for different sets?
Thanks! couldn't have done it if not for the the mouse graveyard that is AQs backyard.
2 more kills since my last update. These ones are both little tiny mice, so somewhere we have a colony starting. Wife is freaked out, and perhaps 9 mice kills in the past 3 months does indicate a problem?

I think a lot of people were saying that these wouldn't be a bad idea if they only used them for Fast Forces figures. I don't even like that. But what these cards could have been great for, particularly the old new way (yes I said the old new way) with the dials on the front, is FCBD sets, or some kind of set specfically designed to attract new players, like that "rivals" pack Harpua explained the other night. That would have been a good idea, rather than, "we're changing HeroClix cards across the board!"

I think you should hire some sort of pest control to take a look around and find where they're coming from, and remove them in a humane way. You don't have to deal with them anymore, and they don't die for nothing, everyone wins.
What's the furthest any of you have shipped HeroClix for a trade? Were the shipping costs stupid enough to make the trade not even worth it? I'm thinking about starting my first trade thread soon (my wants are extremely specific at the moment, and I can't seem to fnd the right trade partners) and if I end up shipping to somewhere like Cali or Texas or Florida, I don't want the shipping costs to be so high that I might as well have just bought the figures I wanted.

unless you are shipping big things (and even then if you stay on the same cost its fine) you should be fine - like 3-5 bucks

I have shipped to Australia, that is expensive but the people who trade/buy from places as far away as that make sure that the value is worth it as do I.
Shipping first class up to 13oz in the US is $3 - 5. Shipping more than a pound can make things get a bit expensive. It costs about $10 to ship a CUR set these days. Those weigh between 1 and 2 lbs.

yeah, Australia and Sweden were expensive, but I think shipping to Canada may be more, despite its relative proximity.
Anywhere in the USA or an APO address for a US soldier is the same price for whatever you're shipping. A box that costs $2.75 to California is $2.75 to Illinois also, but I assume you know that, so are you talking about some other delivery method?
Mouse update- our 14 year old cat, possibly in conjunction with Beau the bad dog, killed a juvenile mouse and left it next to my bed this morning. That makes 3 of the little ones in 3 days, and the first time in Sampson's life that he actually eradicated a mouse!
I checked on the Orkin site---sorry pizzaburger, but they're gonna wipe the little buggers out also. I don't think anyone takes the time and effort to find a mouse nest and carefully remove them to a new mouse home

You could lead a path of cheetoes to your neighbor's house. It could work.
