Not sure what all the hubbub is about the gems. If you get a gem in sealed you have to get the one that the figure equips for the discount to make it work, so the rarity of the gems in total has very little to do with the odds of the gem you need for the figure you actually pulled. If this is a sealed argument.

At home, I certainly won't be worried about it either way. I'll just pay the 5 points and say I have it.

Whoever designed the elders obviously.....doesn't like the elders. Don't get me wrong, they each have a neat gimmick that directly responds to meta elements, and they have great point values. But their stats are abysmal.

Also for immortal beings who have been banned from Death's realm...a single click of regeneration is insulting. A stop click perhaps? So dissapointing. Yeah sure champion can bring on the hurt but ONE penetrating shot and he's either dead or useless. Sure the runner can carry his brothers but has a near full dial of 9 attack and 2 damage. Almost every speedster from Rebirth is stronger or better in some way.

It just seems to me every time we get a cosmic set they reign in the power creep. But the next thor set will break the game. Even the items are overcosted when compared to thor items or doc ock arms/beetle pod/glider etc.

You can also play all the elders for less than 1000 points with this new iteration. Also Runner is much better than all his Rebirth competition in that point range. A 10/4 or 11/3 HSS piece than can't have it's HSS taken away is OK in my book

I agree but he has no defense. The rebirth speedsters have super senses and shape change stacked. The runner gets unlucky enough to be hit once he's nearly useless. His naked dial cant be outwitted.......

This champion can't do that.

The runner bludgeoned thanos and his space throne.
This runner can't do that.

The gardener grappled with the Hulk
This gardener most definitely can't do that.

Once again i love their point values and I'm glad they can finally can be played on a lower point team. But they really can't take a hit. Lets hope the astronomer helps their keyword a bit.

this same mindset is the same as someone who ONLY wants high rarity figures that THEY want. blind boosters will never be that way. not even half of a brick has been opened and there are ONLY 6 gems to collect. wizkids knows this, and i fully expect the gems to come with figures.

as a collectable game, and a THIS game, we should all be used to how the company distributes objects like this. the last set had the three most used objects come with SR figures. the big difference is people knew the gems and gauntlet, etc are in the set. so for some strange reason people are expecting the objects to be all over the place. even though all the figures that have been pulled aren't the ONLY figures that can use said gems.

so again, i think people should relax, but this is the internet and most of all ,realms. so i guess overreacting is the norm..

and we only saw three figures that can use gems. there are way more out there, and i know the gems will come with the ones they're suppose to. sealed play won't be messed up at all because the dials are fine without the gems. none that we seen, NEED the gems. they're only enhanced by them.

i want the gems like everyone else, but i know i'll get them. but it seems to be that people think they'll be easy to pull. that's never been wizkids way. in reality, the soul gem is the best one and i think it's gonna come with dr. strange.
