Dayum....that new Legendary store is pretty dang Legendary.
I need to do me some math and decide if I can dip in there a bit.

Ok...here is what I am seeing.
On 6/1, after Knull entered LLs and I did my pulls, I had 68 pulls.
On 6/10 I made 13 pulls to get Ronan rostered.
On 6/28, when Ronan entered LLs, I made 0 pulls.
I currently sit at 185 pulls.
It is 42 days since I was at 68 pulls.
There are 41 days until I expect to hit LLs again (8/23).

I am +117 pulls from 6/1, that is a pull acquisition rate of only 2.78 pulls per day. That is below my usual guesstimate of 3 per day.
If I maintain that rate over the next 41 days, then I will have ~114 more pulls on 8/23.
That gives me an approximate total of 299 pulls stored up when I hit the LLs again.
That is just about right at the minimum of where I like to comfortably be going into a pulling spree.


In other words, it seems like I do not have much wiggle room to play with on this new store.

Note that there are some other factors to consider, like I mentioned having spent 13 pulls on the Ronan store. There was some recovery with that, but I don't know what. I'll roughly figure the net "cost" was 10 ​pulls.


That actually gets me to a pulls earned rate of 3 per day, which pushes me over 300.

In any case, 300 is probably (hopefully) overkill.
Looking back at my last spree I began with toons at 1/0/0, 1/1/0, and 0/0/0.
My net pulls used then wound up being 200. (After all was said and done, ie, recovery and such.)

Bottom line is that I am going to lie to myself for a while and pretend like I cannot waste pulls on this store, but I'll eventually talk myself into going for it.

Made 6 pulls and got a 5* DP and 5* Apoc plus four 4*s I already have maxed.
Recovered 1 pull.

Looks like I'm in now. So how can I be a good and responsible contributing member?

The only "requirement" is that you play once a day.
Ie, beat one node. Most people do more than this, at least as much of the Daily Deadpool stuff as one can manage.

If you are going to be away for a bit and might not be able to play, that's no sweat, just mention it in the in-game chat, if possible.

If you can do more than a node a day, that's fantastic, of course.
With nearly every event in the game there are two reward tiers, one for personal performance and one for alliance performance. Anything anyone does in an event adds to the overall performance of the alliance, so higher participation generally means better rewards.
It should be noted that I do not think one will get any alliance rewards for an event in which you do not participate.

There are also occasionally boss events....fighting Thanos or Galactus, for example. Those events are heavily structured towards alliance participation, so hopping into those and snagging whatever points you can is always appreciated.

Also, making fun of phantalien in the in-game chat is a bonus.

I took the gamble on this store because Apocalypse was at 3/3/3, Kitty was at 3/4/3, and DPRider was at 1/1/1. I spent a ton of CP I think 1850 when all was said and done and pulled 4 kitty and 5-6 DPRider and no Apocalypse. Oh well. The plus was that there was a high pull rate for characters like Juggy, Polaris, and other meta 4*s, so I can't complain.

I am also in a place where I could feasibly enter 5* land if I wanted to. Kitty, BRB, SW, and Colossus could all be champed if I had the ISO. It would completely mess up PVP but it may speed up PVE. Who knows. So instead I keep on harvesting ISO as best as I can and try to champ through my 4*s. At the moment I am trying to get them up to level 209 so it would be easier to do the math when it comes to champing them.

I made six more pulls and got another DP and a Kitty.

That works out as 9 5* in 25 pulls.
I am really hoping that any RNG trending is independent per store or I am (statistically) looking at a huge drought on the horizon.

They used to be independent per store, but it might have changed in the two years since I stopped playing. It was one of those things that those willing to exploit the game took advantage of.

I wonder how long that will take

I got lucky and had a great pull rate, so I am not going to push it more.

Like I said in my first message, I knew I was kidding myself that I wasn't going to dip my toes in there, so I just went ahead and did it.
