Just to get everything out in the open:

I haven't gotten many clues. Night one (directly after the close of day one before I sent in my action) I was told I saw someone messing around with the china cabinet at the back of the room. I tracked Vlad targeting Dboy, Dboy being the one at the cabinet.

Next phase I investigated the cabinet and found the passage Dboy mentioned. Still killed him that night because I thought the mafia might be live action characters.

Don’t worry, I haven’t gotten many clues either. The main one of note was from N1 when I heard a scraping noise when I entered the library and saw Darq examining a bookshelf.

I’m also curious if this game will keep running after the mafia/SK are all eliminated. The write up is very clear and sounds like we are being scolded for not pooling together our clues and working together in order to solve the mystery.

I still think hunting mafia and the SK is priority #1, but I also wonder if we can win with them if we solve the mystery.

I want to go back to this, I can’t imagine the Mafia’s theme ISN’T Detectives was extravagant Hats. We have 4 Autopsies now, all with Hats. Town dead, not known for Hats.

I was trying to figure out why we hadn’t had anyone hinting to Sherlock all game yesterday, and I thought that it meant he had to be Mafia. Then I extrapolated what he had in common with the two dead. They both had Hats I all the Pictures of them - hats they are known for. It was cemented once Dock Tracy died.

So why don’t you think it’s hats? Tracking me last night is Sus in my opinion.

From all autopsies, you read as Mafia, then. Are you Neutral or Town?

My character also wears a hat, but it’s not an extravagant one and I am Town.

I do see why the idea is a “Mafia with hats”, but I don’t have a reason to lie about this.

Do you understand why I think the Hat theme fits?

1) Why did Rokk fakeclaim early as Dan Stark, when Sherlock would be trusted?

2) Really, why did ALL the Mafia fakeclaim? There is no set theme between four autopsies OTHER than hats.

3) Even ROKK confirmed yesterday that Hats could be something that ties them together. Yes, could be a red herring, but why not stick with it for now?

My only concern is 5 Mafia makes sense numbers-wise, 6 seems too much. So you and Shel both claiming Hats is the only thing giving me pause

I 100% understand why you believe the hat theme fits, which is why I didn’t want to say anything until Kit spoke up.

I have been lightly role playing Eddie Valiant from pretty early on in the game. Don’t you think if I knew I was in a hat mafia that I would have been roleplaying somebody else?
