There are some flavors that just make your salivary glands go all aflutter, and you realize that flavor makes your omelet, a porkchop, your chili, whatever just pop. I probably have half a dozen various hot sauces opened in the fridge, and another 3 or 4 in the pantry shelf. You being in the Military, if you've ever been down in the Texas/Louisiana/Alabama forts, you had to have several sitting at every messhall table, right? Did you try any of those?

I have tried hot sauce in the past, at least whatever was in the buffalo chicken MRE one, and that was just very overwhelming. I decided to not torture myself like that anymore.

I just had a pleasant foodgasm at a place called Mr. Puffs. Imagine a place that has these light and airy puffs almost like doughnut holes and you can choose 2 different toppings. But wait there's more. They do soft serve as well and combine them, calling it 'the mountain '. I didn't get a mountain but the wife an I got a couple of 12 packs. The 4 toppings we tried were chocolate hazelnut, blueberry, bueno (the creamy inside to a kinder bueno bar), and cinnamon bun. We left there about half hour before closing and they still had a line out the door. This was a legit awesome treat.
