I'm hoping that her lack of name recognition keeps Queen of Fables price reasonable. Because I actually own the story, enjoyed the character and would very much like to add her to my collection.
Too late. You've just ruined it for everybody.

Tim Burton was right: "A square jaw does not a Batman make." Steve Buscemi as the next Batman! Luke Perry as Joker! Let's make it happen!
I LOVE hot wings but have never been to one of the BWW establishments, despite hearing them advertised a-plenty on the radio, mostly 'cause I didn't know of any near me.
So now that I've just found one...how are they????
Inquiring minds wish to know.
I have been to a handful of Buffalo Wing chains and truthfully not a lot of them are all that great.
I prefer Buffalo Wings to be kind of crisp on the outside but chicken-ey on the inside. The outside of that buffalo wing is nothing but skin. Crispy skin is a lot easier to eat than soft.

I'd be willing to bet that she won't be expensive. Thus far, Black Adam is the only previewed Super Rare that will be worth anything, but even his price will fall to around $15. I'd expect Queen to be closer to $10. I'm still waiting to see that Super Rare that makes me poop myself. Maybe it will be Darkseid or a regular Superman with cool powers? I think what will cause a SR to be highly priced is a popular name + a powerful dial (some may call point and click). I haven't been wrong yet with my pricing predictions. I just think people get overly excited about a previewed dial and expect too much performance both on the board and secondary market.

I like the Honey Barbeque boneless wings. I also get the wraps. Most of the time though, BWW's food comes out luke warm and average tasting. Stick to the alcohol to drown your taste buds. And if you don't drink, then just go to a restaurant that serves good food.

Expensive and obnoxious, or at least that's been my experience. If you're into the whole "upscale chain sports bar" vibe I imagine you'd enjoy it, but being surrounded by jerseys in cases doesn't make me more comfortable with spending ~$15 for just average buffalo wings.

I had a ridiculously good night tournament night tonight (this a different one from the one I'll be at tomorrow with my GotG team). It was 400 points, and I decided to put together a 'messing around' team, as in a team I put together for kicks and giggles.
SF M. Bison
SFa Cammie
WS Nightcrawler
CA Batroc
And then I unapologetically dubbed it "Bison is a Jerk".
And wouldn't you know it, first I went 3-0 for my second tournament in a row. With a team I put together with little intention of actually winning with (I imagined that at 400 points, I'd find people who would be more than capable of handling my team).
Second, despite effectively coming in second at couple points below the 1200 and effectively falling out of the running for top prize, I still managed to win the 'fellowship' dice roll (I wasn't really sure who to pick since I don't really care for any of the LEs, so I picked Dirk).
Finally, as if that wasn't enough, I managed to trade for someone's Squirrel Girl by giving them an old-fashion Unique The General and a Steve Rodgers.
I don't think things could have gone much better for me tonight.
Spider-dave is somebody who sure needs to take it easy. I'll have to see if I still have my visitor message from him. Luckily I've managed to avoid him. Probably because I avoid nightcrawler discussions.

I could see Black Adam being a big money figure, but I've gotten REALLY bad at calling those. I was POSITIVE DC75 Ares was going to be $40, but boy howdy was I wrong. All signs point to Darkseid being one of the big sellers in this set unless his dial is really weird and conceptual. Swamp Thing and Zod almost certainly won't be. Imperiex could be I guess, but figures at 300 points or more have a bad track record for playability. I still can't account for why Superboy Prime is so valuable.

I kinda like the new Doomsday. He isn't terribly powerful top dial, which I think is appropriate. People point out that he took out the Justice League single handedly (literally), but I really don't think of that as the strongest incarnation of the League, so this seems about right. I missed the DC75 version, so I'm happy to have this one as a rare, one way or the other.
I think people are overestimating Doomsday. Sure, he has a nice end dial, but we've seen that before and it rarely works out when the defense tanks like that. I just don't think he'll hold up.
Also, can this Doomsday finally settle it that the whole Rookie, Experienced, Veteran nonsense can end? It really means absolutely nothing and this just solidifies that. This Doomsday and the Doomsday from DC 75th are from the same story (I think so anyway), both are rookies, yet look at the dials and point cost difference.

Oh noooooo! Space Jawa, are you "that guy"? Do you put Nightcrawler on teams and then act surprised when Nightcrawler proves to continue to be broken? Fight the urge, Space Jawa! Come back to the light!
DISCLAIMER: I am just teasing you. I DO NOT want to talk about the virtues of Nightcrawler.

Yeah, Darkseid is likely to be a money piece, but fortunately there is almost no way for him to be so much better than the Crisis Rare for me to worry about it.

I'm looking at my MODOK card right now and noticing that his big head makes it so that you can barely see the Veteran red field. I figured that at some point we would be seeing special powers that referenced REV status (I'd love to see an Onomatopoeia who deals penetrating damage to rookies), but the fact that there wasn't a lot of effort to even make it identifiable kind of puts a dent in that concept.

The reason Black Adam won't hold a high price tag long is because people will realize he's not an auto-win. Some people still don't realize that he'll push if he takes a double power action. Superboy Prime holds a high price because he's easy to use and a lot of people don't know how to handle a big hypersonic brick. If the #001 Common Superman was a SR, I think he'd be worth more than Black Adam.
I hear people complain, almost to an insulting degree, about how certain figures take no skill to use and they are just a mindless point and click figure. Well, that is one element that makes a figure worth a lot because people like broken/powerful/competitive dials (be it perceived powerful or actual powerful). Now you throw a name on a dial like that which people recognize, and you have an expensive SR that holds it's value (relatively speaking).

Seriously, if he's better than the Crisis rare I'm going to be concerned. That figure is RIDICULOUS to this day. High on the list of the most underrated figures in the game, and he's pretty highly rated, which just goes to show how rough of a customer he is. Of course the new one is (if I recall correctly) 60 points more and has Quintessence, so there's room for him to be equally bonkers I guess.

This applies to certain Rares too. HoT Cap and WoS Nightcrawler are two of the most expensive Rares I've seen since Armor Wars. Both of which are versions of popular characters with easy to play dials.
