Just that one in the pre-game, like a leg up. After that, it's two regular Attendence per game.

1 freebie for the preseason game 1 and that's it. The norm for each game is 2 Attendance awards, but in the first preseason game we get 2 Attendance awards and a freebie, I believe.

If you take an attendance upgrade you don't get stats for the game.

I thought it was that you take the stats, but then if you upgrade the character with attendance instead of the stats, then the current stats for that figure are erased.

So essentially, the stats go to zero. Like I said earlier. Cuz when you're going through the game, you're accumulating stats and you use the attendance award at the end of the game. Darn..that sucks...all my generics share the same stats! Booo....

But they'll upgrade anyways just based on attendance at least. Sadly, my team only has 4 figures capable of using attendance upgrades, and only 2 of which are full REV progressions.

Only every other game. But it's alright..other people can get the stats.

so if I play my 1st preseason game with all Rookies. I can then up grade all of them with the attendance upgrade...or is it 1 rookie per game....

Hawekeye R 40
Shield Agent R 17
in game 1 can I upgrade all 3 after the game?

Every single game, you get 2 Attendance upgrade awards. In addition to those, in the preseason game, you also get a Freebie upgrade award.

So yes, you'd be able to upgrade all of them after the first preseason game, if they all played. However, it looks like if you use the attendance upgrade and freebie upgrade, their stats go to 0.

Much easier way of saying it, rather than their stats don't count.

You have one free upgrade starting off, so you can use that now.

After your preseason game you can choose two characters that participated and upgrade them.

It's only two after each game, and the same character can't upgrade consecutively.

I think the important thing to note is that if a figure start accumulating stats but is still a rookie after Game 2, and THEN you choose to use an attendance upgrade, it is ONLY their stats for Game 2 that they lose, not all of them.

So when people are saying stats are being reset to 0, that is because it is the Pre-Season game and all figures have no stats right now, so because their stats for the Attendance upgrade game DO NOT go onto their permanant record, they will essentially not get any stats for the Pre-Season Game.

Ah gotcha, that is a good distinction to be made. For that game only....

Also, I don't think will have any issue with it as thematically it works, but I'm going to keep my 10 figure team, but I'm switching out Dazzler who only has 1 figure out to R Bishop. He obviously wouldn't be thematic to X-Nation as he is trying to kill Hope at that point, but during my era was actually his 1st appearance, and he did meet X-Men Blue telling Jubilee she was the "Last X-Man" and the suspicion of Gambit began....

Or is it too late to make switches? I wasn't using Dazzler on my first game lineup anyway, so I won't be using Bishop either.
