The reason Black Adam won't hold a high price tag long is because people will realize he's not an auto-win. Some people still don't realize that he'll push if he takes a double power action. Superboy Prime holds a high price because he's easy to use and a lot of people don't know how to handle a big hypersonic brick. If the #001 Common Superman was a SR, I think he'd be worth more than Black Adam.
I hear people complain, almost to an insulting degree, about how certain figures take no skill to use and they are just a mindless point and click figure. Well, that is one element that makes a figure worth a lot because people like broken/powerful/competitive dials (be it perceived powerful or actual powerful). Now you throw a name on a dial like that which people recognize, and you have an expensive SR that holds it's value (relatively speaking).
Agreed that common Superman would be more valuable than Black Adam if he was a super rare. In fact he would probably be the most valuable in the set, likely around $40-50 by my estimation, whatever that's worth. Black Adam is not an auto-win and in fact looks really hard to use, but he's a pretty recognizable character and will possibly be sought after for the Black Adam/Isis/Osiris 300 point team that looks pretty strong. It's entirely possible that 100 point Black Adam will prove to be nearly top tier playable.

Seriously, if he's better than the Crisis rare I'm going to be concerned. That figure is RIDICULOUS to this day. High on the list of the most underrated figures in the game, and he's pretty highly rated, which just goes to show how rough of a customer he is. Of course the new one is (if I recall correctly) 60 points more and has Quintessence, so there's room for him to be equally bonkers I guess.
Considering I don't play many high point games, the fact that he is 60 points higher makes me want him even less. I play my 60-150 point pieces far far more often than I do my 150-250 point pieces. And I almost never play anything over 250. I don't think I've ever played Odin, even though I really want to.

I played Odin as a 300 point team once and won the tournament through sheer luck. In the last round he ended up on his last click before I could even do much damage to the other team, but five consecutive Impervious rolls later they were all dead.

I'd like to think I could count on that kinda luck, but somehow I doubt I could replicate that kind of success. I did something similar with Groot one time, but I doubt it was 5 in a row.
I have been to a handful of Buffalo Wing chains and truthfully not a lot of them are all that great.
I prefer Buffalo Wings to be kind of crisp on the outside but chicken-ey on the inside. The outside of that buffalo wing is nothing but skin. Crispy skin is a lot easier to eat than soft.
You have just described my own preference --- and I'd rather have the little drumsticks than wing pieces! No blue cheese necessary for me --- just lots of celery on the side.
And beer.

If I don't drink???? Well, that's one way to get my Irish up.

Gotcha.
Guys, I really...REALLY...appreciate the comments.
Prepare to get slapped!
Tim Burton was right: "A square jaw does not a Batman make." Steve Buscemi as the next Batman! Luke Perry as Joker! Let's make it happen!

Historically I can't roll Super Senses or Shapechange EVER (when I'm evaluating a dial for personal use I basically consider them blank) but I get an unnatural amount of Impervious. That doesn't mean that I've gotten five in a row ever before or will ever again, but that was a good day. The guy I beat in that last round still mentions it pretty frequently.

I've mentioned a number of times that I can't stand anime, but I had a buddy strongly recommend Neon Genesis Evangelion to me recently and I actually really like it. I'm a little more than half done with the series. Like every other anime I've ever seen it's really repetitive, but unlike every other anime I've ever seen this time I get the impression that it's building to something. There are elements of it that still really bug me, but it's telling that I found time to watch thirteen episodes in four days in between school and work.

Have you tried Full Metal Alchemist? I enjoyed it and I am not an anime fan either.

Nope. But isn't that a long-ish series? That's always turned me off when it comes to be time to select new viewing material. That's why it took me so long to try Doctor Who. I think Full Metal Alchemist is on Netflix instant watch though, so that's a big plus.

My defensive rolls are usually better than average, but offensively I hit major cold streaks. I once played a Nightcrawler/X-Force team that should have destroyed the opposition. Bamf an enemy into the killbox and let the BCF go crazy. But Nightcrawler missed most of his attack rolls and when I did get an enemy into the killbox, I wouldn't roll better than 1 or 2 for blades. I went 0-3 that night and swore that that was my comeuppance for playing Nightcrawler.

Offensively my average is waaaaay under par. I have a running count of critical misses in my signature (actually, it's not there right now, but it is most of the time) that's vastly higher than my critical hit count. The sillier my theme team is the worse I tend to roll too, which is kind of tragic.

Apparently it is 51 episodes.
