I can see it from his point of view. This website cannot be exactly cheap to run/maintain from a bandwith point of view.

It may not have been the most tactful way to say it, but it is his sandbox that we all play in.

As a cat owner, I tend to avoid playing in sandboxes as I am fully aware of what they are full of.

That happens to have lots of "Copy Righted Materials" that the site probably isn't paying to use.

This is also true, but I would rather have this site with the way he runs it than not have it and be forced to use one of the other fan sites or the WK forums if they existed.

If we were forced to one of the other sites then their bandwidth concumption increases then they would have to come up with some way to pay for it and then the cycle continues.

And I bet there is a way he can parse his logs and compare the 2 so (hopefully) someone who pays and AdBlocks would be ok.

I've asked the question on that thread. Let's see what happens. If he doesn't consider his stance, the only way I'll be logging onto the Realms is when I can sneak on at work or my iPhone.

I use different browsers for different things.

I am not sure why I ever picked Styx? I have used Norym for a long time for forums and stuff.

It is also my name spelled backwards. Norym = Myron

These are the Forum Rules that appear when you intially register on the site. It does not mention ad-blocking brower plug-ins.

They can check to see if you're running scripts, not sure if they can check what scripts you are using :-/.
