I wouldn't suggest that because I've been looking at banning members that use that for stealing (which is what it is).
I have Adblock (and NoScript) installed on my home PC yet I also donate. So, I technically could be banned on the Realms because I use a browser plug-in don't want to look at ads while I'm Web surfing?
I wouldn't worry about CL. He's highly overrated. Heck, he doesn't even warrant an elite LPC shirt.
Well, at least you're posting. No one wanted to play last night. Bob was pulling out of the lot as I pulled in and refused to make eye-contact with me. So the good news is I totally saved you those pogs!
I hope you're OK.
Catering to the lowest common denominator since Feb 2003.
That happens to have lots of "Copy Righted Materials" that the site probably isn't paying to use.
This is also true, but I would rather have this site with the way he runs it than not have it and be forced to use one of the other fan sites or the WK forums if they existed.
If we were forced to one of the other sites then their bandwidth concumption increases then they would have to come up with some way to pay for it and then the cycle continues.

Depends on what the terms you agreed to upon signing up says. If it's mentioned in there then yes, otherwise no.
A donor has already paid not to see any ads on the site. If I (a donor) want to use a brower plug-in or two to protect myself while surfing other sites where I can't pay to disable ads, I can still be banned on this site?
That's serious bull####.
On a technical note, can a site check to see if you've got certain plug-ins installed?
And I bet there is a way he can parse his logs and compare the 2 so (hopefully) someone who pays and AdBlocks would be ok.
It might be a good question to ask him?
I've asked the question on that thread. Let's see what happens. If he doesn't consider his stance, the only way I'll be logging onto the Realms is when I can sneak on at work or my iPhone.

They can check to see if you're running scripts, not sure if they can check what scripts you are using :-/.

There should be terms and conditions as well...let me check :-/
Okay, weird as it does look like that's it :s. Which means technically he can't do it as it wasn't agreed upon nor said you can't do it when making the account.
