Yeah, I likely should have claimed towards the end. It was clear the Mafia was winning. I actually logged in, the day I died thinking, okay today's the day I claim as neutral. Then, I was dead. sadness.
You knew nothing other than he claimed Snarf Day 1 I was utterly flabbergasted he was never killed. Such an easy mark
To be honest, Pax's lack of sharing info is what pushed me the way I did.
Again, epic fail on my part but there it is and there you have it.

I did not know that I was mafia. If I did, I may have acted differently. However, the game kept me on the edge of my seat, no doubt.
So Kenny - did Keds kill me after I magneted him this last night? Was there a way for me to win with the mafia?
You weren't actually mafia, we just framed you.
Yea, I'll agree with Darq that that is a really powerful power. But to be fair, we never abused it by pushing a lynch on a townie we framed, and FurbyFrank outed that that was happening on Day 2.
I have absolutely no idea how we managed to pull that one off. That was a hell of a game.
Yes, it was. I can't even get upset about losing to how well you all played that one.
Congrats to the winners!!!
And thanks Kenny for an awesome game!!!

Next time speak up, boy! Assuming you don't wanna get lynched!

I'm disappointed in myself for not catching Kedryn stealing Velius' Bengali claim earlier. And Stan's play here confounded me (which I'm sure he'll say the same thing about me)
"Why would the possibility of me being wrong ever stop me from doing something?"
adamical as Ancient Spirits of Evil (Mafia/Omnipotent Entity) - Spending your time transforming the decayed form of Mumm-Ra into the Ever-Living, you reside within the Black Pyramids and come forth only when called by Mumm-Ra. However, Mumm-Ra does not truly control your awesome presence. Instead, you lend yourself to him for only a limited time, and each time he has disappointed you. Perhaps the time has come for you to take matters into your own hand. Now you are your own entity, and Third Earth has no idea what it is about to suffer now that you have taken your first steps into the realm of Third Earth without the decrepit host you once always inhabited. Your powers are great, and they are your own, except Mumm-Ra still controls the mutants. Working together with your power now able to be given to anyone you desire, you may be able to finally claim Third Earth once and for all.
Possession Transformation - The Ancient Spirits of Evil can transform any form into something, the Ever-Living, though that time is only brief until they run out of energy. When you possess someone, they are imbued with some of the greatest powers that anyone has ever seen. Perhaps possessing someone other than Mumm-Ra might be beneficial for you. Each night, if you are not assigned the hit, you may PM the moderator the name of target player. For the night phase, that player will become “<character name>, the All-Powerful!” The transformation will be a dragging that will appear at the start of the write-up with the character name appearing. That player will then be unblockable, unmisdirectable, bulletproof, and during the following day phase will require ⅔ lynch majority while having a double vote. If you target a Mafia member who is making the hit with this power, they do not get their normal added ability and they will automatically fail their action during the next night phase because of power burnout.
Taint with Ancient Evil - Any player targeted by Possession Transformation will show as a Mafia (or otherwise evil) alignment for the remainder of the game, even in death. Their role character will not change.
All-Consuming Evil - Your power is vast and wholly corruptive. If you grant all of your power to one individual, you can disrupt their very soul and incinerate the vessel that they are a part of. When assigned to make the hit, you will eradicate your target completely, janitoring him or her and gaining their soul for your own.
You win when no threats to the Mafia remain.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
I wanted this role to be powerful and so I counteracted the usefulness of the regular power by making it the janitor hit as well. I didn't realize until after the game had started that the frame aspect and name cop drag part would be pretty much useless, but then again, turning Juno into a mafia member caused a ton of confusion for all players involved. If adamical targeted Furby, both would have died. It was a hidden aspect to represent the two interacting for a final climatic battle.
Peers as Mumm-Ra (Mafia/Undead) - The undead host of evil residing on Third Earth, the destruction of the Thundercats has been your ultimate goal for some time now. Even the added power of the Ancient Spirits of Evil hasn’t been enough to take those pesky kitten-cubs out. But you won’t stop until they are all dead. Given that you yourself are undead, you can probably just wait about 100 years or so and the Thundercats will all die out, but let’s just assume you’re impatient. With your trusty, faithful, and loyal pet Ma-Mutt (did you think I was talking about the mutants, because I so wasn’t...), you come up with scheme after scheme to try to undo the Thundercats. You are the Mafia Don, and what you say goes. Anyone may post the final night actions, but you may change anything posted before the deadline. Only the Ancient Spirits of Evil can ignore your demands if you so choose.
Master of the Arcane - You are a skilled sorcerer even without the aid of the Ancient Spirits of Evil. You have a variety of spells at your beck and call and may use different spells as you see fit. Each night, if you are not assigned the hit, you may choose a target player and one of the following powers: Tracking, Power Copping, Misdirecting, or Ghost Writing..
Master of Illusion - Even without the aid of the Ancient Spirits of Evil, you can disguise yourself or Ma-Mutt to look like anyone (or anything) that you want. If you are assigned the hit, you may choose any character, being, object, or whatever that you would like to appear as. What you choose does not have to be from the show.
The Ever-Living (Weapon) - You are eternal. Using the power of your sarcophagus, you restore yourself to new life, albeit still remaining in a frail state. If you are killed, you will return 3 phase cycles later, at the end of the corresponding phase you are killed. You lose this power if your sarcophagus is destroyed or you happen to be killed during a cycle in which you were role-blocked.
You win when no threats to the Mafia remain.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
Mumm-Ra suffered from "Too Much Syndrome" in that he could entirely too much. I wanted him to be powerful, and I wanted to make it where the mafia had to seriously think what they would do with him. In hindsight, I never would have given him a ghost write as a power. Combined with the Ancient Spirits, it was too powerful.
Wade Wilson as Monkian (Mafia/Mutants of Plun-Darr) - You have brawn before brains, and often that causes problems for your team. On the plus side, you tend to be too stupid to be traitorous or even work on your own, so you are nothing if not dedicated to your fellow teammates. You’re the slyest of the group and often employ your espionage skills to obtain information about the Thundercats. Not smart enough to use that information on your own, you relay what knowledge you gain to your teammates, allowing Slithe to coordinate a plan that will hopefully make the best of what your spying has uncovered.
Espionage - Your skills in spying are remarkable, and they are probably the only reason the mutants keep you around. You’re able to infiltrate enemy lines and discern plans of action with almost as great of accuracy as Mumm-ra’s caldron. Each night, if you are not assigned to make the hit, you may PM the moderator the name of a player. You will track that player for the night and also gain a clue to their identity.
Morningstar and Boulder Shield (Weapon) - Your weapon and defense of choice, there’s something about keeping yourself out of reach of your opponents. The morningstar keeps those who get too close to you at bay, and the boulder shield allows you to blast away your enemies while remaining at a safe distance yourself. If you are assigned to make the hit, you cannot be tracked.
You win when no threats to the mafia remain.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
The Mutants were significantly weaker, and if their weapons were destroyed, they became vanilla hitmen. It was hilarious to keep giving the mafia Lipton tea clues based on the voice actress of Linn Lipton.
Shadow40 as Vultureman (Mafia/Mutants of Plun-Darr) - The most intelligent of the Mutants of Plun-Darr, you have created numerous inventions to help your fellow mutants, but nothing seems to ever be able to out-do those bothersome Thundercats. They’ve arrived on Third Earth have done little more than cause problems for everyone. You have thought of many ways you can defeat the Thundercats, and you’re willing to side with just about anyone you feel may help you in taking them out once and for all. Though your main allegiance lies with Mumm-Ra, you hope at some point that you can even usurp his place within the pyramid.
Inventor of the Mutants - You are the skilled machinist and have come up with more than enough devices for your comrades to use in the battle against the Thundercats. Unfortunately, nothing you have invented thus far has offered much in the way of success. Because of the numerous inventions you can make, you do not have a specific weapon assigned to you. Instead, you have a variety of weapons you can choose from each night. Each night, you may PM the moderator the name of target player and choose one of the following inventions to use. If you are assigned the hit, you add the invention effects to your hit. Unless otherwise specified, each invention may only be used once.
Net Capture Gun (Weapon) - You fire out a net that entangles your target, trapping him or her for the night. This is a jail-keep that will cause the target to fail in their action as well as causing all others who target your target to fail. This cannot be used if you are assigned the hit. This item does not have a limit on the number of uses.
Wolf Rat (Weapon) - The small invention travels fast and travels far, and if the Thundercats were small size, it could probably kill them easily. However, the Thundercats are normal size, so this device needs to just impersonate a rat for you. When used, choose a target player. You will track that player for the night. This item does not have a limit on the number of uses.
Voice Imitator - This device allows you to mimic the voice of anyone you choose. The sound is so perfect, it causes anyone who hears the voice to believe it’s the actual person. When used, choose two target players. This is a controlled misdirect in the sense that you will use your first target’s power against your second target. However, since it is merely your voice and not the real person, your first target will still get to make his or her normal action. If your second target is reverse tracked, your first target will be the one to appear on the result instead of you. You may still be tracked when using this power.
Sound Stone Blaster - After grabbing one of the sound stones, you were able to craft this disorienting weapon. When used, you may choose a target player. You will misdirect that player for the night.
Super Power Potion - This potion grants whoever drinks it immense strength and skill, rivaling that of even Mumm-Ra. When used, choose a target player (yourself included). That player may be given a second action for the night. All actions taken that night by your target cannot be blocked or misdirected. Actions can still be prevented via other powers, however.
Vary Cannon - The freezing ray of this gun locks people in place, keeping them from moving about. When used, choose a target player. That player will be role-blocked for the night.
Traitorous Ambition - You have often left Mumm-Ra and the other mutants in order to form the uneasiest of alliances with others. Because you can worm your way into the ranks of other forces without incident, you can win with the Mafia, all of the Neutrals, and select members of the Town.
You win when no threats to the Mafia remain.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
I love inventors, and Monkian had so many cool devices at his disposal. Most of them ended up being one-shot items to thwart abuse. In hindsight, I probably wouldn't have given the double, but as luck would have it, the double was beneficial on the fact it existed as opposed to the second action adamical got to take with it. Unfortunately, I was never able to find a replacement for Shadow40.
Immortal_Raven as Jackalman (Mafia/Mutants of Plun-Darr) - The most cautious of all of the mutants, you are also the most cowardly. At times, it’s hard to discern if you are just looking out for the team’s best interest or if you are just frightened of what might happen to you if you go through with the plan. You’re not really one to go off on your own, though you are seeking to gain power for yourself. Too bad you don’t have the gall to do it on your own. Still, you have mutual allies here, and together, you will see to the destruction of the Thundercars.
Discretionary Cowardice - Your cautious nature can get yours and your allies’ heads off of the chopping block. Since you like to err on the side of cowardice, you can determine if a situation will be beneficial or too dangerous (though the other mutants tend to ignore you). Each night, if you are not assigned the hit, you may choose a target player. You will doctor that player for the night.
Wooden Club (Weapon) - Your weapon is crude but effective. You club people over the head and knock them unconscious before they can act. If you are assigned the hit, you role-block your target before doing the deed.
You win when no threats to the Mafia remain.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
This role probably went through the most changes. Originally the mafia role-blocker, then the misdirector, then the guide, I finally settled on doctor to represent how he errs on the side of caution.
Kedryn as
Slithe (Mafia/Mutants of Plun-Darr) - The sarcastic leader of the mutants, you give command as often as you give insults. None of your plans seem to ever bear fruit, and the other mutants are quick to point this out to you, but at the same time, they always follow your lead (that is, when they’re not scheming ways to usurp you from your position). Mumm-Ra still gives command over all of you, but you are essentially the main one to see that his orders are carried out, probably because you’re the smartest of the mutants with the greatest strategies. So far, none of your plans have made any sort of impact on the Thundercats, but Mumm-Ra’s new command means you have to start making things count, or he’s going to count you out... permanently.
Cunning Strategist - You’re the one who concocts all of the battle plans. It’s the other mutants that cause the problems and screw everything up. You’re also the resident cook, but no one seems to care much about that aspect. Be it thanks to your clever planning or delicious meals, you know how to set up fights to keep your men well fed and well positioned. Each night, if you are not assigned to make the hit, you may PM the moderator the name of target player. That player will be guided for the night.
Battle Axe (Weapon) - Your axe is your trusty weapon, and you use it to great effect from time to time. Sharp as can be, the axe have little problem slicing through anything. When you are assigned to make the hit, your kill cannot be doctored.
You win when no threats to the Mafia remain.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
A very straightforward role, I don't think they ever used for him for the hit... not that it would have mattered.
Neutrals
zyxba as The Berserkers (Neutral/Pirates) - Roaming over the seas of Third Earth, you were a band of pirates that would sink to the greatest lows in order to pillage and plunder whoever got in your way. Unfortunately, when you’re out on the seas, sinking isn’t something one would strive to do. After all of the original Berserkers died at sea, Mumm-ra brought back one to use in a revenge plot against the Thundercats. When the plan failed, that revived Berserker broke free of Mumm-ra’s control and set out to reform the Berserkers. While there were many within the ranks, only four powerful beings claim the title of Berserkers. Each Berserker brings unique talents to the team, though the formidable members have never been strong enough to take out the Thundercats permanently. But now there’s a new approach. Taking on your enemies one at a time might let you actually win over your enemies.
Brutal Pirates - Hammerhand was the resurrected member of the Berserkers. After breaking free of Mumm-ra, he initiated his cybernetic enhancements to bring forth 3 new members, each also equipped with their own cybernetics. Each night, choose one Berserker and a target player. You will kill that player with the effect of the Berserker you choose. Each Berserker must be used once before they can be used again.
Hammerhand - The leader of the Berserkers, he has a powerful iron fist capable of pure destructive force. When Hammerhand makes a kill, you destroy your target’s weapon even if the target doesn’t die. If you are role-blocked, you will break the weapon of the person targeting you.
Ram Bam - The fastest of the Berserkers thanks to the built in wheel in his chest, Ram Bam hits the ground zooming. Like a bullet, he hits his target without fail. When Ram Bam makes a kill, you cannot be misdirected or tracked.
Cruncher - The strongest member of the Berserkers, Cruncher’s cybernetics enhance his strength tenfold, and no one is able to overcome his might. When Cruncher makes a kill, no doctoring attempts can succeed and you cannot be killed during the phase cycle.
Top Spinner - Spinning the fastest and about of cool as Top Man from Mega Man 3, Top Spinner can spin his body really fast. No one can touch Top Spinner as he is moving, though he is prone to getting dizzy. When Top Spinner makes a kill, you cannot be role-blocked and your targets action is misdirected (if possible).
You win when no one can defeat you.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
I was wishing zyxba had used Cruncher the night he was killed. I balanced out his role (since he only had four to choose from and weapon breaking had no effect on him) by making him use all four before they would reset. He was also provided with Nayda as a (albeit terrible) fake claim.
.
MSU as The Lunataks (Neutral/Moon Beings) - Hailing from the moons of Plun-darr, you are a group of vile aliens seeking to overthrow Mumm-Ra and his band of mutants. Though Mumm-Ra managed to defeat you easily enough and seal you away within the forbidden regions of Dark Side. After being nearly defeated himself, Mumm-Ra ordered his mutants to release all of you, but none of you have forgotten what Mumm-Ra has done. You will not work for him but instead seek to thwart his efforts, as well as your other enemies the Thundercats (and friends).
The Alien Team - Led by Luna, the diminutive woman with a screeching voice and quick temper, your team uses their varying abilities to great effect, though often times they end causing each other’s failures by their inability to effectively work together. In fact, if your team could function as a solid unit, there probably wouldn’t be any way to stop them. Nevertheless, Luna gives command to each of her subordinates, having them use their abilities to subdue their enemies. Each night, you MUST PM the moderate the name of a Lunatak and a player. You will use that Lunatak’s power to kill the selected player as well as applying the additional effect (if applicable). You cannot use the same Lunatak until all other Lunataks have been used. If someone targets you to destroy your weapon, whichever Lunatak that you are using for the night will no longer be available to you.
Alluro: The mental manipulator, Alluro has a crystal ball that can take command of his target. When using Alluro, choose a second player. The second player will make the kill for you and show up as the killer in the write-up and on tracking results. You will only appear on tracking results of the player you choose as the killer, not the player you choose to kill. The player you control will still take their regular action as normal (if applicable).
Amok and Luna: Amok is Luna’s faithful pet (though he will turn against her given certain circumstances and isn’t one to forget misdeeds against him). With Luna atop of Amok, Amok can use his enhanced speed to get around quickly, and he will do his best to protect himself and Luna from harm. When using Amok and Luna, you are bulletproof.
Chilla: With a heart cold as ice and a gaze as piercing as the sun’s rays, Chilla’s command over heat and cold make a fearsome foe not to be taken lightly. When using Chilla, you will first freeze your target in place with your frosty breath, then using your heat gaze, you will incinerate your target. Because of the combined effects of your elemental powers, no one can survive the harshness it creates and therefore cannot be doctored.
Red Eye: The main pilot of the Lunataks, Red Eye has the ability to see most objects thanks to his powerful vision. Even the invisible Tygra can be found by Red Eye. When using Red Eye, you cannot miss your target at all. You ignore powers like misdirecting, pushing, and bus-driving. You can still fail to make the kill through role-block, doctoring, and other preventive measures when using Red Eye.
Tug Mug - Arguably the ugliest of the Lunataks, Tug Mug lacks real legs but can still get around with ease. He also possesses the gravity carbine which can change the effects of gravity on a person or object, making them incredibly light or heavy depending. When using Tug Mug, your target will be role-blocked, their weapon destroyed, and you cannot be role-blocked while making the kill. If you are role-blocked when using Tug Mug, you will break the weapon of the person targeting you.
You win when no one can defeat you.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
I was angry when MSU was lynched before he could even check in. I loved this role and wanted to see if go forward and wreak some havoc. Since the different Lunataks could be "killed" by weapon breaking effects, I let MSU choose who he wanted to use each night. It was ultimately a moot point.
Quebbster as Luxray (Neutral/Pokemon) - You are a predatory lightning feline in a world we must defend. Though others want to catch you as part of their OCD tendencies, you are content to being left to the tall grasses of the wild. You’re not sure what you’re doing on Third Earth, and these steel type berbils are a bit of a nuisance, always wanting the electricity you can produce, but at least you get to be the top pokemon on this planet since the closest thing to another pokemon would be the crows (and psshaw... Electric type versus Flying type?). Sure, there’s the occasional mutant trying to hunt you and the occasional legitimate Thundercat running around, but you figure they can go after each other and leave you be.
Electric Type Pokemon - The fully evolved form of Shinx, you are a powerhouse of electricity. You can choose from one of four abilities in the game to use against foes to help keep them at bay (and you remaining the top pokemon on the planet). Each night, you may PM the moderator the name of target player (including yourself). Choose one of the following abilities to use on that player, but you cannot use the same move twice in a row:
Charge: You store electrical energy to power up your next attack, giving your target a double vote for the following day. Each time you use Charge, a counter is added to your pokemon, though vote power is not stackable..
Roar: The target is frightened away, being misdirected for the night.
Thunder Fang: Your bite shocks and causes a flinching, role-blocking your target for the night as well as breaking their weapon.
Discharge: Electrical energy pulses from your body, arcing out and preventing players from targeting your target. You will misdirect a number of players (starting in order of actions received) that target your target up to the number of Charge counters stored. All charge counters are spent when this move is used.
Static - You have an innate ability granted to you, as all pokemon do. Whenever someone touches you, they become shocked, paralyzed so to speak. Each night, whenever a player targets you, they will lose their vote for the next day.
You win if you are alive at the end of the game.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
One of my favorite generation 5 pokemon, he ended up being a neutral instead of town because 1) it fit the character personality to just not care about anyone who wasn't his trainer and 2) he wasn't a humanoid cat. I liked the variety in the role, and the mafia guide helped to ensure his misdirect nexus wouldn't be overpowered.
spworldtour as Thundercats Ho-Hos (Neutral/Hostess) - Growing cats are hungry cats, and while Third Earth offers a fair share of delectable morsels for them to feast on, you hold yourself in high regard as THE snack cake of choice for all of the feline frolickers. Are you healthy? No, but that doesn’t matter. Have you seen how much Cheetarah runs or how big Panthro’s muscles are? They exercise with the best of them, so you know that one or two little cakes won’t hurt. Beside, you’re so addictive and come individually wrapped, so it’s easy to share your chocolatey goodness! Let everyone feast upon your rolled cake and cream combination, even the mutants and monsters that lie in the dark corners of Third Earth!
Where’s the Cream Filling? - Yes, that delicious, completely unhealthy delicious white goodness that sends everyone into a chocolate fantasy is here, so no worries. You’re like legal crack, giving people a burst of sugary speed as your fat and carbs imbue their system with the power to go the distance. During the day, you may PM the moderator the name of a player. You will give that player a delicious Hostess Ho Ho and double him or her for the night.
Happy Ho-Ho (Weapon) - Though the mascot is no longer around, you definitely aspire to keep his memory alive. You can bring his name great pride by providing his treats to all who are around to bear witness to his former existence. If at any time during the game you have successfully targeted all remaining players, giving them a Ho-Ho, you will leave the game a winner, preserving your legacy in something other than Scorbic Acid or Bisulfate.
You win when you meet your alternate win condition or are alive at the end of the game.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
I almost made this role Ho-Oh from Pokemon Gold and Silver, but I didn't want two pokemon in the game and the idea of including a box of snack cakes as a role was too hilarious to pass up. Ironically, I thought up this role while I was working out one day.
hellsmurf as Zap, the Eveready Cat (Neutral/Battery Mascot) - As the legend goes, long ago, a US businessman and inventor by the name of David Misell patented a strange device that could illuminate with the touch of a button. The flashlight came into being and the patent then purchased by business mogul Conrad Hubert. The company grew in strength and influence, mostly due to their batteries. One of the favorites was the 9 volt battery which could be tested by placing one’s tongue on the two prongs, getting a sour charge from a live battery. When the great cat Zap placed his tongue upon one of the batteries, the results not only made his owners laugh with delight, it prompted them to uphold Zap as their new mascot and company logo! Now the cat, a black dart of lightning and soft fur, perpetually jumps through the number 9 to represent the 9 lives of a cat (and a metaphor for the extended life of the battery). Zap is beloved by all, but his origins remained mostly an obscure mystery. Though Eveready is not the top brand of battery today, people everywhere still enjoy Zap’s little charging folly, licking batteries to their hearts’ content.
Tonguing the Prong - They can’t resist. People see your cute little body on their 9 volt batteries, and their tongue is immediately drawn to it. Bzzzt! They get a slight shocking sensation and know that you are still ready to give them all you’ve got. Keep those devices running properly with your near limitless power! Each night, you may PM the moderator the name of target player. That player will be forced to target you during the night. Thanks to your nine lives, you cannot be killed in this manner.
Supercharged Battery (Weapon) - You provide energy to devices everywhere, and though most of the people you will be targeting are not devices, your charging effect will still work on them. When you target someone, they will be doubled during the next night phase.
You win as long as you are alive at the end of the game.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
Another role I just had to have in the game, it would have been a very difficult claim to prove if it came down to it, but hellsmurf was another rush lynch. Making him a role-block doubler kept him from being too overpowered since he wasn't ever really granting a second action. Unfortunately, the second actions never happened as every successful target he had until the battery was destroyed died the same night hellsmurf targeted them.
Town
Cornucopia as Juno MacGuff (Town/Ellen Page) - Intelligent, witty, beautiful, and young, you found yourself in a bit of a situation when your friend Paulie unexpectedly helped get you pregnant. While there were a couple of options presented to you, from abortion to raising the child on your own, you ultimately decided to find suitable parents to raise your child for you. The sacred vessel, your spawn grows inside you transforming from a sea monkey into a beautiful creature, possibly with a love of Taco Bell and slurpees. You don’t know now, but if the parents still let you stay in contact, you may know then. Find the proper parents for your unborn irresponsible child so that you can continue with your teenage life. Somewhere out there is the proper couple (or single parent), even if they happen to be an alien cat person from a dead planet struggling to survive against the evil forces of an ancient mummy and his mutant fiends.
Pennysaver - You are searching for proper parents to take care of your child spawn. Each night, you may PM the moderator the name of a player. You will learn if that player is a suitable parent, a negligent parent, or an indifferent parent.
Give the Gift of Cactus (Weapon) - It’s pretty pointless. It accomplishes nothing. It hurts people who touch it. Yes, it’s a cactus, and you give one to each person you target.
THUNDERCATS ARE GO! - No, you didn’t pee your pants. It’s time. Time for you to bring the child into the world and give him or her up to the parents of your choosing. At any time during the day phase, whether alive or dead, you may post in bold in the thread “THUNDERCATS ARE GO, <player’s name>!” That player will become the caretaker of your child. If that player survives to the end of the game, you will finish a winner having met your alternate win condition. If that player leaves the game, you can only win by being alive.
You win when no threats to the Town remain or you meet your alternate win condition.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
I admit, I never would have included her if Corn hadn't requested her. I toiled around on what I wanted to do with this role, honestly. Then I finally figured I would keep her as true to the movie plot as possible. I threw in the cactus bit at the last minute. I intentionally made the "Cop" aspect of the role misleading since there was a name cop dragger in the game.
Rokk_Krinn as Lion-O (Town/Thundercats Lord) - Upon escaping Thundera during the time of its destruction, you were still a young child. However, your life pod failed to completely put you in stasis, so your body aged. Mentally however, you are not completely grown. The Thundercats refer to you as their leader, though they are often the ones giving you guidance as you come into being and fully accepting the responsibility of who you are. Your peers help guide you as you grow, and so does the spirit of the great Jaga, the one who sacrificed himself in order to allow the rest of the nobles to arrive safely on Third Earth. Now it’s up to you to lead the Thundercats to victory against the evil forces of Mumm-Ra, freeing Third Earth once and for all.
Sword of Omens (Weapon) - The legendary sword of the Thundercats, it houses the magical ruby known as the Eye of Thundera. A legacy in its own right, the sword is granted to the lord of the Thundercats to help him protect the Thundercats from all harm. When not in use, the sword rests safely in the hilt of the claw shield, protected from harm. If you are not using the Sword of Omens during the night, it cannot be destroyed. If you choose to use the Sword of Omens, you may choose one of the following powers to use:
Force Field: The sword manipulates energy forces to create a shield around yourself, protecting you from harm. When used, you cannot be killed at night.
Sight Beyond Sight: The sword grants the gift of enhanced sight, powerful visions of dangers occurring or yet to pass. When used, choose a target player. You will reverse track that player during the night.
The Most Powerful Sword in Existence: Your weapon is true and will smite evil easily enough. During the night phase, you may choose a target player. You will kill that player at night.
HOOOOOO!!!!: The sword will follow whatever command it is given. It is the Deus Ex Machina of the series and therefore also known henceforth as Sword of Plot Device. During the day, you may post in the thread, in bold, a threat to another player, followed by the word “Hoooooo!!!” (the number of Os is your choosing). You will daykill that player. You may use this only once per game.
Thunder... Thunder... Thunder... THUNDERCATS, HO!!!!: The trademark phrase of the wielder of the Sword of Omens, this allows the Eye of Thundera to cast forth the Thundercats’ sigil, making it present for all Thundercats to see and draw power from the eye. When used, all Thundercats will be doctored and guided for the night. You may use this only once per game.
You win when no threats to the Town remain.

Honorable mention to zyxba for having the balls to target Rokk, and not even with his undoctorable hit at that. Granted, it was the busdrive that night that allowed zyxba to ultimately succeed (since his hit that night hit its target without fail). mal swapped Rokk and Shel which forced Velius to role-block Rokk. With his protection gone, zyxba's kill went through easily enough.
ThorKnigh83 as Cheetara (Town/Thundercats) - Swift, graceful, agile, and full of inner strength, you are among the most cunning and brave of the Thundercats. Taking up the role of den mother, you manage to fill a void that the two Thunderkittens needed (and at times, Lion-O himself). Your loyalty to the Thundercats earned you a place on the ship leaving Thundera, and on Third Earth, you lend your speed and gift of enhanced sight in the battles against Mumm-Ra and the mutants. Your visions as of late have been growing even clearer. You know the final battle has come, and not everyone will emerge a victor.
Foresight - Early on, your visions were painful and mentally exhausting, but over time, you have learned to harness this power to your own advantage. However, it is still not a failsafe way to gain information and can sometimes be misleading or confusing. Each night, you may PM the moderator the name of target player. You will receive a clue as to that player’s identity.
Bo Staff (Weapon) - You are as fast with your staff as you are with your feet. When using your weapon, you can knock almost anything away from you, keeping yourself safe. The staff also extends and allows you access to many different places. Each night, in addition to your normal ability, you may use this. You will guide yourself. Be careful, however. The more you use the staff, the more prone it is to breaking.
You win when no threats to the Town remain.

I love clue cops. I had no idea what to do with her weapon, though. I admit the self-guide was a tack-on. I tried to make the clues ambiguous, with voice actors being a big part of the clue (or just main people involved). Mumm-Ra's clue was meant to go both for Mumm-Ra and Jaga because of the wrapping of the cloak, but I suppose it was too simple after all.
sstralkowski as Panthro (Town/Thundercats) - Brains and brawn, you are one of the eldest of the Thundercats and employ your talents in the best interest of the team. Brash and prone to anger, sometimes you lose your cool, but your comrades always help to bring you back to your senses. You have a gift for creation, and thanks to your abilities, you have created both Cat’s Lair and the Tower of Omens (albeit with a little assistance here and there). You know that Lion-O is still young mentally, so you offer your guidance when you can, but you still remain faithful to him as he is the lord of the Thundercats now.
Mechanic - As the Thundercats’ accomplished mechanic, you are able to invent all sorts of contraptions that assist the Thundercats in day to day activities. Early on, Tygra would offer his assistance, and now that Bengali is around, you’re able to get even more work finished. With your inventions complete, you can use them to the benefit of your team. Each night, you may PM the moderator the name of target player. Choose an invention to use on that player. You must use all inventions once before you can use the same invention again. All of your inventions are considered weapons, and if one weapon is destroyed, it will be the weapon you are using during that night. You may forgo an action during the night to repair a broken weapon of your own.
Nun-Chucks - You are naturally the strongest of the Thundercats, and with your added skill fighting with your nunchaku, you can put a severe smackdown on someone. You will role-block your target with this invention.
Chest Spikes - Your spikes are more than just costume decoration. They fire out as makeshift grappling hooks for overall safety. When using this, you may choose yourself as a target. If you choose yourself, you will be a PGO for the night, killing the first person to target you. If you target another player with this, you will guide that player for the night.
Thundertank - It’s a tank. What do you think this is going to do? It’s been one of the most reliable and unstoppable of all of the Thundercat vehicles. It provides safe sojourn across the lands. You will doctor your target with this invention.
Feliner - One of the fastest vehicles in your array of craft, this can someone anyplace they wish to go and still have time to stop off at the Berbil village for some berries or... whatever it is that they may serve there (since they are robots after all). You will double your target with this invention. Please submit this action during the day or as soon as possible during the night.
Thunderstrike - The craft that’s a 3 in 1, it can do so many different things. However, it has to break apart into the three separate vehicles to be able to do so much at once. As one unit, it’s a strong craft, but separate, it’s easier to destroy. During the night when you use this, you may choose to leave it whole and either track, reverse track, or magnet your target. Alternatively, you may separate it into the three different units and choose three targets. You will track your first target, reverse track your second target, and magnet your third target. If any of your 3 targets are targeted by anyone else, this vehicle is destroyed.
Thunderclaw - A single flyer vehicle, it has impressive speed on land and in air. It has a built in claw used for grappling almost anything, even people if you choose. You will jailkeep your target with this invention.
Hovercat - Another flying marvel, this machine is unfortunately only a single seater. It’s also often used by Lion-O for whatever reason. It’s one of the least impressive vehicles, and rightly so. Single out players who are unfortunate enough to ride around in this. You will drag your target into the write-up.
You win when no threats to the Town remain.

The first night, Stan wished he had a copping power. He was a bit lost on what to do with the role. When Stan doubled adamical, adamical made his team a group of double voters and rushed the lynch on him next phase. Probably good for the mafia as that was the night Stan's inventions reset. His PGO only managed to kill mal.
charlesx as Wilykit and Wilykat (Town/Thundercats) - The two youngest of the Thundercats, you are both often referred to as the Thunderkittens. It seems unfair. The suspended animation that preserved each of the Thundercats malfunctioned on Lion-O, making him age at almost a normal rate. His mentality is about the same as the two of you, yet as lord of the Thundercats, he’s allowed (nay, expected) to go on all of the missions, dangerous or not. Meanwhile, the two of you typically get left behind because you’re both too young to be of much help. But now with the way starting, the two of you are trading in your childish playful nature for a more serious role. It’s time to take on the villains at full force and give it everything you’ve got. With both of you adding your spirited energy and wily natures to the mix, there’s no telling how things might turn out.
Pellets (Weapon) - Your pellets tend to cause little more than harassing distractions, but sometimes that’s all it takes to change the outcome of a battle. Each night, you may PM the moderator the name of target player. You will force that player to target you. You will be subjected to all effects of that player’s night action, including kills.
The Thunderkittens - The two of you may not amount to much individually, but together, you are a force to be reckoned with. You have a double vote. If role-blocked, you will lose this power until the following day.
You win when no threats to the Town remain.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
Probably possessed the most times, I actually liked this role a lot. Being a double voter is strong in mafia, so I balanced it a bit by making them a self-detrimental magnet. It caused problems when he magneted Darq, though. The situation makes me wonder how I should handle circumstances like that from here on out as I didn't like my standard solution's outcome this time around. I laughed when he ended up with a kingmaker vote, then I banged my head when he lynched Pax with it.
gfishfunk as Pumyra (Town/Thundercats) - Gentle and compassionate, you have one of the kindest natures of all of the Thundercats. But that shouldn’t fool your enemies into thinking you’re a pushover. You’re a survivor, having made it off of Thundera right before it exploded and crash landing on a deserted island of Third Earth. When Mumm-ra sent Hammerhand after you, you, Bengali, and Lynx-O all fought valiantly to resist capture. Even though you were captured, you were eventually freed by and welcomed into the ranks of the Thundercats by Lion-O. You bring valuable skills to the team, both in combat and out, something that this final battle could certainly do with.
Medic - You are skilled in the arts of medicine and physiology. You take great care in treating others and help to mend wounds and sooth aches. Your skills help keep your friends alive. Each night, you may PM the moderator the name of target player. You will protect that player from all kill attempts during the night.
Whipcord Sling (Weapon) - Skilled with this device that resembles a cat’s tail, you hurl pellets and projectiles from it with great accuracy. Though you are more prone to using your great agility to avoid combat altogether, sometimes you need to be more combative. Each night, instead of using your standard power, you may PM the moderator the name of target player. If it is an even numbered night, you will role-block your target. If it is an odd numbered night, you will misdirect your target.
You win when no threats to the Town remain.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
My favorite character in Thundercats, I wanted to keep her true to the show. Doctor made since because she was thea team medic. gfish had strange targets when he actually remember to submit. It felt like the whole town was off.
Velius as Bengali (Town/Thundercats) - Alongside Pumyra and Lynx-O, the three of you managed to escape from Thundera before the planet exploded. The younger brother of Tygra, it was a blessing that you survived the destruction of Thundera and a welcomed sight beyond sight that you arrived safely on Third Earth. You are benevolent, kind, and skilled at forging weaponry. Lion-O made you an honorary member of the Thundercats after he rescued you and your friends from Mumm-ra, and now you serve as a helpful handyman around Cat’s Lair. With your gift of creation and endless resourcefulness, you add much needed strength to the Thundercats in their battle against the evil forces of Mumm-ra and the other villains of Third Earth.
Resourceful Hammer - The hammer not only forges powerful weapons and tools, it can also fire energy and secretly houses pellets similar to those that the Thunderkittens use. Each night, you may PM the moderator the name of target player. You will role-block that player for the night.
Hammer of Thundera (Weapon) - You hold one of the mighty tools of your long-deceased home planet. With this hammer, you are able to forge powerful weapons, even using it once to fix the Sword of Omens. Conversely, the hammer is also a tool of destruction, able to break as easily as it can repair. Each night, instead of your normal night action, you may PM the moderator the name of target player. You may then choose to repair or destroy that player’s weapon (if applicable).
You win when no threats to the Town remain.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
There probably weren't enough weapon breaker powers in the game to make his repair too worthwhile, but I also included the role-block to make him useful (and the town needed a role-block). He actually repaired Rokk's weapon on Night 1, but there wasn't any need to.
KitsuShel as Lynx-O (Town/Thundercats) - Though old, blind, and somewhat frail, you are by no means a weak person. Those who consider you past your prime will find that they have gravely underestimated you. A survivor of Thundera, you crash landed on Third Earth alongside Pumyra, Bengali and some berbils, and there you established a home for yourself. After Mumm-ra sent forces to capture you and your friends, you each fought bravely to escape, meeting up with Lion-O and the other Thundercats. You proved some of your extraordinary talents beyond your sight by knowing who Lion-O was even before he introduced himself. As an official member of the Thundercats, you now lend your talents in a greater capacity, keeping Mumm-ra’s forces as ineffectual as possible.
Braille Board - Though not as combat ready as your companions, you still offer great assistance with your braille board. Used as a proper navigation system, it is able to get anyone through any situation unscathed. When you factor in your enhanced hearing, you know how to guide anyone along the way. Each night, you may PM the moderator the name of target player. You will guide that player, preventing any misdirection or role-blocking from occurring.
Light Shield (Weapon) - Designed to help protect you when you enter combat situations, the Light Shield creates powerful force fields that prevent attacks from harming you. Each night, you may use the Light Shield instead of your hyper senses. You cannot be nightkilled while the Light Shield is protecting you.
Hyper Senses - When one sense goes, the others greatly increase. Because of your enhanced senses, you are more aware of your surroundings than ever. When not using the Light Shield, you will learn every player that targets you at night.
You win when no threats to the Town remain.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
I got a kick out of the town spending two days deciding to lynch her. I laughed even harder when Stan said I wouldn't include the role since Lynx-O was too lame to have a power. The fact that she was a guide was unfortunate since every part of her claim was the honest truth.
malakim2099 as Magical Mister Mistoffelees (Town/Cats) - And they all say “Oh well. I never. Was there ever a cat so clever as Magical Mister Mistofelees?” And the answer is probably. There’s been many a cat since you worked your wily magic onto the scene of humanesque kittens prancing around a stage during the Jellicle ball. With your moonlit eyes, you look at the king whilst sitting upon his throne, all the while plotting your spells to make mystical divinity of unashamed felinity rise to power once again! Here you are on Third Earth, lending your great powers to the Thundercats in the hopes to stop the plans of the evil forces setting out to destroy all feline-kind.
The Hat that Produced 7 Kittens (Weapon) - You’re a phenomenal cat. That point cannot be disputed. After all, who else would be able to cram kittens into such a small space and then pull them out again? You were even skilled enough to swap out Elektra for Old Deuteronomy as well as retrieving Elektra when all was said and done. Each night, you may PM the moderator the name of two target players. All players targeting Player A will target Player B, and all players targeting Player B will target Player A.
Conjuring Turn - Your power is vast, but you mostly tend to be tricky, shifting yourself around and keeping people from knowing you’re even there. You set confusion into motion and make it difficult for anyone to know what’s what. During the night, you may forgo your normal night action to impose a nexus around yourself. You can use each nexus only once per game. The nexus choices are Misdirect, Role-Block, Reflection, and Deflection. When choosing Deflection, choose a target player. All actions that target you will target that player instead.
You win when no threats to the Town remain.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
He pulled off a nexus one time. He's also the reason why Rokk died. Then he committed suicide shortly after. I liked this role a lot and would have used the actor from the tv version in his clue if it came to it.
FurbyFrank as Ancient Spirits of Good (Town/Omnipotent Entity) - Though mostly called upon by Mumm-Rana, you are the antithesis of the Ancient Spirits of Evil and bring balance to the world of Third Earth. With your power added to her own, Mumm-Rana was able to defeat Queen Luna. At other times, she has defeated most villains, including the Thundercats (though she was under Mumm-Ra’s control at the time. The power you bestow is not typically granted outside of the White Pyramid, but desperate times has called you outside of the pyramid walls. You must strive to keep the balance on Third Earth, and that is why you are here, ready to give aid to those who need it.
Possession Transformation - The Ancient Spirits of Good can transform any form into something, the Ever-Good, though that time is only brief until they run out of energy. When you possess someone, they are imbued with some of the greatest powers that anyone has ever seen. Perhaps possessing someone other than Mumm-Rana might be beneficial for you. Each night, you may PM the moderator the name of target player. For the night phase, that player will become “<character name>, the All-Powerful!” That player will then be unblockable, unmisdirectable, bulletproof, and during the following day phase will require ⅔ lynch majority while having a double vote. That player will also have any additional supportive powers for the night.
Imbue with Ancient Goodness - Any player targeted by Possession Transformation will show as a Town (or otherwise good) alignment for the remainder of the game, even in death. Their role character will not change.
You win when no threats to the Mafia remain.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
Definitely a copy/paste of the mafia role, but that's what I intended it to be. It was far stronger than the mafia equivalent though since he could out mafia members easily with it. Furby didn't use it offensively, though. Instead, he stuck with the same targets most of the night. I'm actually surprised he outed himself so early.
michiganj24 as Willa (Town/Warrior Maiden) - Living within the forest with the other warrior maidens, you are their leader and queen, using your skills and knowledge to help protect Third Earth from all of the villains. While you are an ally of the Thundercats, you still feel that they are mostly responsible for the bad situations that end up occurring. Honestly, you could do without both the mutants and the Thundercats if it meant peace would return to Third Earth. But as it stands, you need all the help you can get to take out the villains once and for all. Strangely enough, you are one of the only beings besides Lion-O who has been able to use the Sword of Omens completely. In these end times, you’re hoping that you can be strong enough to overcome the evil forces that are out there.
Warrior Skills - Third Earth is your home, and you are familiar with almost every location known to the inhabitants. Combined with your natural hunting skills, you can track down anyone or anything. Each night, you may PM the moderator the name of target player. On even nights, you will track that player. On odd nights, you will reverse track that player.
Tree Spider (Bushy) - You have your own personal tree spider that you can call upon when you need aid. Each night, instead of using your standard power, you may call upon Bushy to set a web trap in place. The first person to target you during the night will fail in his or her action.
You win when no threats to the Town remain.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
With Rokk being a reverse tracker too (among other things), I wanted her role to do either track or watch. In hindsight, I should have let him choose which one he did. He never used Bushy.
PaxZRake as Snarf Osbert(Town/Thundercats) - Almost considered the resident pet of the Thundercats, you’re actually a value-added member of the team... when you’re not being overly annoying. You tend to worry about everything going on, and often this comes across as whining. However, you’ve been loyal to the Thundercats all your life. You have a rather large family, and despite Thundera being destroyed and your new location undisclosed to anyone, your family is able to find you. Perhaps it was just sheer dumb luck or a plot device that brought them around, but the most notable of your family to visit was Snarfer (who affectionately called you Uncle Osbert).
Lion-O’s Nursemaid - As Lion-O was growing up (and he’s still technically growing up), you were there to care for him. Now that his body is larger, you’re not needed in the same capacity as much, making sure that he and everyone else is taken care of. Instead, you’ve become the resident cook. Still carrying that mindset to protect, you will step up if needed. As the nurse, you will become the Town Doctor in the event that the regular Town Doctor is killed. You will be notified if this happens.
Loyal Protector - Until your time as a doctor is needed, you will gladly lay down your life for any of the Thundercats. Each night, you may PM the moderator the name of a player. You will protect that player from a kill during the night and will die in that player’s place instead. Should you be killed this way, you will leave the game a winner as the players honor your bravery and sacrifice. If you are targeting a non-Thundercats character, your action will fail (though you will not be notified if you have failed in this manner).
You win if you meet your Bodyguard win condition or when no threats to the Town remain.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
The first time I ever included a nurse, since it was a small game for 4 potential nightkills, I wanted to make sure there would be adequate protection for the players. That's why there's so many ways to avoid kills. Pax kept targeting adamical hoping to die and win. Once gfish was killed, he screamed out in disappointment. I'm not sure why he didn't give a better claim besides "Snarf is Snarf."
Silver Lantern as Snowman (Town/Snow Knight) - Residing in the cold and desolate Hook Mountain, you and your trusty companion Snowmeow help protect Third Earth from Mumm-ra and the rest of the villainous forces. You rarely get visitors where you live given the harsh conditions, and any time someone makes the journey out there, you are skeptical of their motives. You give trust sparingly. You natural fur helps keep you warm, but you also employ a toasty overcoat to help keep you warm. Now, as one of the allies of the Thundercats, you and Snowmeow are set on taking out the forces of Mumm-ra once and for all. You’re fierce enough and cold enough that you’re ready to take on this battle alone, but thankfully, you don’t have to.
Ice Weaponry - You are able to form just about any device into a formidable ice weapon, and you then use that weapon to great ability in combat. Whether to protect a friend or defeat a foe, your ice weapons are difficult to overpower. Each night, you may PM the moderator the name of target player. That player will be trapped within your icy constructs, unable to act or be acted upon. His or her action will fail, and anyone targeting him or her will be role-blocked. A guided character may still target your target, however.
Snowmeow (Weapon) - Fast, agile, and brave, your trusted steed is also a skilled messenger. Each night, instead of using your ice weaponry, you may PM the moderator the name of target player as well as a message. You will send Snowmeow to that player, delivering the message you have chosen.
You win when no threats to the Town remain.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
I loved the combination of the note pass/jailkeep. I have no idea why.
DarqFeonix as Mandora (Town/Interplanetary Control Force) - A cross-galaxy vigilante, you seek out the villains of the universe to put in lock-down. You’re no-nonsense and very by the books. With an arsenal of weaponry that ranges from the practical to the downright bizarre, criminals have a hard time escaping your sight (let alone your clutches) No one wants to be on your bad side. Sure, you were unimpressed with Lion-O upon your first meeting, but over time, he proved to be a reliable ally. Now you have come back to Third Earth for the final battle, lending your martial expertise and law enforcement skills to the side of good. Hopefully no one will impede your work as you strive to capture the villains and turn the planet over to the peaceful berbills, Thundercats, humans, and other peace-loving creatures.
Enzyme Catalyzer (Weapon) - Among your arsenal of weapons is the Enzyme Catalyzer, a gun that fires out soap. Hey, you’re an inter-galactic space police officer... no one accused you of carrying practical weapons. But the soap gun can mess up a villain’s day easily enough. Each night, you may PM the moderator the name of target player. You will misdirect that player during the night, randomizing his or her action.
Flying Bike - Despite your oddball taste in weapons (Boomslang, really?), you know how to get around in style. You soar high in the sky, able to track down the vilest of villains in order to capture them. You may use the Flying Bike to make yourself untargetable at night. Once used, the LFying Bike must cool down for 2 nights before it can be used again.
You win when no threats to the Town remain.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
I wanted the town to have a misdirector, but I wasn't sure who would fit as the role. Mandora's soap gun was a bit of a stretch, but she wasn't working out as a vigilante/bounty hunter. To make up for the lame part of her power, I included her bike.
I feel bad for IR. There was some ridiculous chain of events whereby the kill got reflected onto him, and I think he would have won too if that hadn't happened.
