It's not that I can only allow myself to play clix that are comics, but Halo is a videogame to me, not a comic. Sure it may have been put into a comic, but so has Justin Bieber and Barack Obama. I'd want to play either one of those on a clix team about as much as I want another hole in my head. Maybe I need to be more specific when discussing the Marvel/DC clix that I'm interested in, but I'm pretty sure most people don't associate Halo with the Marvel universe.

Side note, I watched Howard the Duck last night while laying in bed. That movie has some disturbing moments.

DC did publish 2000AD for while, so they could do some of their characters, such as Judge Dredd, Johnny Alpha etc.

I bought Howard the Duck for $5. I had too. It's too epic to not own it.

True, but it's a videogame first and foremost. I'm just not interested adding that to my collection. At the same time I also am not interested in Street Fighter, Lord of the Rings, or Star Trek clix. I think Star Trek has been put into comics, but I still don't consider that a comic book franchise either, it's movies/tv before all else.


As far as the Hellfire team, when do you need the guards? I have more than I can shake a stick at.

I have like 16pts left over if I remember correctly. Enough for Contingency Plan and 2 Aliases I'm thinking.

So here's a question that's crossed through my mind as far as licensing goes: Before Bungie made Halo, they made series called Marathon, but have since made the series Freeware. Would that mean that if it felt so inclined, Wizkids could make Marathon clix (not saying they would) without having to worry about doing a license deal with anyone, or would they still need to talk with someone about it first?

How exactly would making clix for a property in such a situation work?

It depends on if they are licensed by someone or not still. If not it's free game to do that but is in bad taste
