LOL heres the thing though... are cram and company (snicker, I made a funny) will sooner or later make it in to worlds (especially with unlimited chances at grinders practically (im basing this off of them having 100 spots listed for the semis on gencons site). Massu cant play in the grinders at Worlds. I think he was just being facetious guys.

But they'll have a harder road without being catapulted to the finals like they would have had they won Nationals.

Origins gave us 16 entries. Gencon thus, as Norm said, is 32.

I think we need a further clarification. Because limiting grinders to 32 is NOT going to go over well at Gencon, when 100 players are used to being in worlds, and you cant play a grinder because half the group dropped and immediately played in a second grinder, and thus they sold out well before evening.

Norm, some people planned on playing during the day, and some planned on evening grinders. Based upon how you said grinders would work. But if you dont fix the system, then grinders will be sold out long before evening. And thats just a bad system...

Do you have a link to him saying that it is going to be precisely twice the amount of product? Because that doesn't sound correct.

I concur. But I overheard at Origins that if people want to play in grinders at gencon they will, it was nothing official, but I did overhear it.

Also they only got to skip the grinders, they still had to play in the semifinals on saturday.

True, but you know what else is incorrect? You reading "at least'' as "at most." That post says the minimum of product at GenCon will be twice the amount that was at Origins, not the maximum.

If grindrers are in fact limited to 32 (total) then there needs to be limits to people playing/dropping in multiple grinders.

ATLEAST TWICE the product. Also, we dont know if he mistyped, or the numbers are wrong. He mentions 64 grinders, so that number is in his head.

If you play in a grinder, you should be prohibited from playing in another for X amount of time.

No dropping out to start another grinder. Its not fair to other players with limited product available.

Which is why I asked for clarification the moment he said it. Which hasnt happened yet.
