The skin on this stupid severed arm is approaching lube singularity. Pretty soon it will be more lube than rubber. And still, I haven't been able to get it to slip even slightly in 45 minutes.
Turns out I invented the world's mightiest adhesive, guys. Tons of lube. It glues surfaces together better than anything should be able to.

BTW CC, did you see that I posted the scenario for the weekend?
I was specifically talking about Brett, but you can pretty much take your pick of the menagerie of people that you have to serve but that nobody wants to talk to.
And no, I didn't. Looking it up now I suppose.

I hate you. Don't worry, the surprises I suggested will be awesome.
Besides, this is a tournament that Robin can't win. That makes it good!
This just means that I don't have to try very hard, since the winner of a 1000 point free-for-all is more random and less tied to merit than a die roll anyway. I'm thinking the complete lineup up the Teen Titans with Monster Hunter on everyone. Or something. I'll math it later.

I've traveled around the country a fair amount. And maybe it's just the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area, but Minnesota is far from "Minnesota Nice" compared to other locations. Some of the friendliest places I've visited were Indiana, Texas, and Florida. The oddest people were in Sacramento, CA and the most...rural folk... were in Grundy, VA.
Basically my findings too. After growing up in Chicago and spending nearly all of my life in major cities around the country, when I started working for my current employer I came in via a training program where they had us move around the country frequently so we got to see multiple business units.
My first year they put me in Lynchburg, VA. Based on my travels between Chicago and VA, plus my time spent in the surrounding states, my list of most "rural" areas as...
1) At least half of West Virginia, most of which town names don't matter.
2) Anything west of Roanoke, VA in the state of VA. (Includes Grundy)
3) Lynchburg, VA. (~70,000 people and over 100 registered baptist churches)
4) Wisconsin, north of Madison. The whole northern half of the state.
5) Illinois, south of Springfield. (Grandfather retired down to Ava, IL to be near his brother. Visited while in college. More than 5 different towns people asked if I was working on my "ed-jew-ma-kation".)
6) Montana, but they are "rural" in a good way.
I'm happy. Going out for Chinese food and then we're going to return my Tux from yesterday and then get some Coldstone Ice Cream!!! We'll probably go to the mall or something after that to kill some time before going to a friend's house to play games tonight. It should be an awesome day, but I'll be away from the thread most of the day as a result.
Thanks to Haven's posts earlier, after reading your reference to going to a mall the only thing I can think of is...
"They have baby clothes."
"This mall has everything."
