A good Hefeweizen can be quite good but they take some work to make good since you have to mix it appropriately.

To be fair, it's a reaction to an action, and the kind of thing I had to wait to get all the other actions in to see if they somehow interfered.

certainly is the fun. If you want to put in the work to drink a Hefeweizen its an awesome beer with great flavors. I am partial to Paulener Hefeweizen myself but I also really like a good Bock beer.

It doesn't matter what they say, as long as you remember to shout "sweep the leg!" during the practice. Because with that age group once you have a practice match, it's going to be one ball in the middle, with 10-15 kids kicking eachother in the shins while trying to kick the ball.

Also, I would recommend going through the rules with the kids, side throws, corner kicks, the basics.

It is so hard to write roles with only one power.

That's funny, I have the opposite problem, because I feel anything more than one power and a one-shot causes imbalance issues.

Very true I imagine most people play you games for the writeups and role/power sets, and less for the "let's play a mafia game". But really - and I'm sure Thawmus would agree - most games that are run here fit that mold.

I will take that as a compliment.

I would love to give my standard flair for this game, but since I have some new players dipping their feet, I think it would be best not to overwhelm them.
