I'm a basketball junkie when it comes to podcasts. but nothing to me beats the Jalen Rose Report which sometimes crosses over with the BS (Bill Simmons) Report. An insiders' view of the NBA is amazingly informative and Jalen is really engaging guy. I absolutely look forward to the next JRR, though it can get a bit sporadic (Normally a weekly thing but over the holidays I think maybe every 3 weeks).
For my non sports fix, I still check out TWiT from time to time. I still haven't found a gaming podcast that really like though. Maybe, I need to think about making one.

Totally agree with this. Love Jalen on the podcasts, and I do listen to the BS Report, even though a fair amount of the time it can be BS. Aaron Rodgers as the best QB ever? Seriously?!?

Yeah Mal, I mean the best active QB, I can see the argument as Brady & Peyton are arguably past their prime. Brees is also getting old. You know who's gonna be hella scary for the next decade? Andrew Luck. The colts will forever be indebted to Peyton for breaking his neck...

Expensive, really? Huh, I hadn't realized that, I thought it was a subscription service that you get it all included. Hmph. Podcasts, it is, then!
(for fans of The Nerdist, their Hostful year-end episode was particularly poignant and touching)
I became majorly miffed with Audible a few years back. I always made sure that my "free" book for the month was worth more than the monthly fee. After awhile I decided to put my account on hold for a few months as things were crazy and I was no longer doing 6+ hours of commuting every other day. When I went back, they'd erased my stored books library.

I can't stand the nerdist, I was into them for a while, but clash of personality with Chris Hardwick and Jonah Ray.
I like Mira, but the Jonah Ray I hate everything is annoying and Chris has to be the center of attention. Plus I'm annoyed that he has been labeled as the voice and face of nerd, when in reality, I don't find him all that versed in nerdom. (he didn't know that Spider-Woman was real.) / rant
Comedy Bang Bang once in a while is good, Dead Author's Podcast is a lot of fun, How did this get made, Doug Loves Movies, The Bugle, and Nerd Poker (probably my favorite) are good comedy podcast.
Cracked, Stuff You missed in History Class, How stuff works, Radio Lab, This American Life are some of the other things in my rotation.
I can't stand Political and Sports podcast for the same reason I can't stand Sports and Political TV and Radio.
I do a ton of podcasts, especially now that I've got about around a 2 hour commute each way involving work nowadays.
I enjoy the Nerdist podcast, because the interviews are great on a myriad of topics.
I enjoy Doug Loves Movies due to my love of movie trivia, and a comedy gameshow on the subject is right up my alley.
The Art of Wrestling is a wrestling podcast where a top Indy guy, Colt Cabana, does Nerdist style interviews with wrestlers.
The Dork Forest is one I just started getting deep into. It's long form interviews where they delve deep into the guest's nerddom of choice. Hearing people talk for an hour about the things they love is interesting for sure.
Comedy Film Nerds is a discussion of current release movies I enjoy.
Low Elo is my requisite League of Legends podcast.
The Order 66 podcast is my Edge of the Empire one.
okay i thought i had would dcvsxmen mafia ready by tonight but it wont be til a few days had to rework and change a few roles for fairness. Thus i will be reassigning some roles randomly

I am a huge podcast fan. I don't listen as much anymore just because I don't have the hours but I have also participated in a couple of podcasts. I enjoy doing them. The podcast my buddies and I used to have back when our Comic Book Store was still open was such a blast. It was based around Indy comics. Our thought is that Marvel and DC get plenty of exposure and there are so many good indy titles out there and we enjoy them and want to talk about them.
We will start our podcast back up again soon but right now Im having to buy equipment to make it happen.
Anyone played Dead Rising 3 yet? I keep getting slowed down by Ravi, who won't stop following me. And he can't seem to understand how to get in cars, or not attack zombies when I don't want him to.
