Sorry, I know I'm responding to a post from ages ago, but I've been out for a while.

I hate it when they remove the basic games off of workstations. Especially Solitaire. I fight tooth and nail to keep Solitaire on workstations. They are games designed to hone mouse-eye movement for end-users. Given the level of computer aptitude I am accustomed to dealing with in regards to new hires, they could use the help.

They're also a nice stress relief during the day. Seriously, they monitor all output and net usage anyway, so if my work gets done what do they care if I play a couple games. I already dork around on my Smartphone, I just want a larger screen for Mah Jong.

On another note, eight classes down for my MBA, four more to go. I didn't get a promotion I was gunning for because there were two temps that management wanted to hire on full time. They thought promoting me and then giving one of them my current job was too big a hassle. The kicker is that one of these temps needs her hand held for every little thing. She's already annoying everyone even more so than she already did. The kicker is that she's coming to me for help and getting ticked when I refuse.

Coming back to work, most of our computers can barely do basic functions. I'm surprised some of them still turn on. It's even crazier because we're supposed to be the network aspect of our battalion...

Gotta love my job. Working four days a week m-th is a good thing. It's a pain however when time goes slow at my job sometimes, while somedays it's fast.

I'm trying to figure out why one would need to do a study on "What sex looks like through an MRI", because that's an actual thing. Especially considering an MRI is a particularly noisy recording instrument, both in sound and video quality when motion is happening.

As with many studies, I suspect the answer is "because they can".

That's some very expensive birth control being used, there.

In other news, I saw an orthopedist today, and apparently I have arthrosis. Isn't life swell?
