The prerequisite for Dissent is Outwit, so Sage couldn't use that feat until that power is showing on her dial, down toward the end. So Bishop's Outwit would still be Outwitted. And anyway, Granny's got Fortitude, so you couldn't Outwit her period.

"Emerald Empress," Saturn Girl said, sounding as if the words tasted sour in her mouth.

"Why Saturn Girl, Imagine seeing you here. If I had seen you there, I would have made sure to include you. I wouldn't want to offend an old friend." She smiled evilly.

I'm wrong. I did Nova Blast already once this game with Nimrod. I must not have put it in the Feats list when I did. I still had one left to use, so nothing to change.

Though one day, I do want to use Emerald Empress without Nova Blast on her.

"Sorry shiny, never on the first date. The second date, though, all bets are off."

Meanwhile the Torch moves in on the Empress.

"You're almost too beautiful to hurt, sweetie. Why not surrender?" he says.

The Empress smiles for a half second and then turns her eye on him with a blast that misses. "How's that for an answer?" she says.

"You're not my first rejection, sweetie," he hits her with a flame ball, "So I've learned how to deal with it alright. Don't you think so?".

Cyborg Superman Recover Roll: Gets 3. I'm having the same trouble with him as you're having with Maestro.
