Things looked sooooo bad for the mafia that I was PMing the mods from the "beginning of time" to try and make the write-ups more interesting.
I think a little bit of the wind went out of the town's sails when Captain Jack (town vig) was misdirected into me (bomb). Captain Jack also chose pretty poorly after his resurrection (I tried to change his alignment to "Bad Wolf"...muahaha!)

*Shrugs*
I don't think 4 out of 5 is too bad(or 2 out of 3 post-revival).
BTW, Cuthbert, what did happen on my other two kill attempts, including the one the night I died?
Seriously, the odds were pretty well stacked against us. Frankly, the only reason we won is town inactivity. By all rights, the town should have finished us off a long time ago. Especially when we lost Kit due to a trivia question early and then tidge as well, plus I was suspicious as hell later in the game. I mean, seriously, what are the odds I'd misdirect two people into Davros?
But, yeah, two things would have made this game a little better.
1. Giving the mafia a janitor.
2. The town actually being active.
A win is a win, I suppose, but I hate it when I win due to town inactivity. That is the only reason we got it. But I count it as a moral victory that we killed Rose Tyler. God, I hate that character.

One night you were roleblocked (the Evil Ood can do that).
The other night I guess you died before you reached your target. I think I flipped a coin or something to figure out who struck first.
As for the lack of options for the Mafia, yeah, I guess you guys are right, but we did have a couple of extra roles that were town (Captain Jack, the Brigadier). There wasn't much room to maneuver, though, we probably should have given you a janitor.
I dunno where the town went, but yeah, people stopped following along after a while and those who were participating were easily led astray by the Mafia.
I think, in retrospect, it might have been better to have two smaller mafias. One "Doctor Who bad guys" mafia, and then the Cult of Skaro/Dalek mafia. But I suppose size constraints figure into that.

Glad the players had a good time. I was a tad annoyed by the lack of activity from some players (not the ones who kept in touch with us mind you, just the one's who were "Oooh, ooh, sign me up!" then disappeared as it would of made for a more balanced game.
My role did not state I was supposed to only have one day kill. I tried to kill Malakim one day, but Cuth said it was supposed to be limited. I was beyond frustrated with the no lynch days, which is why I started with the day kills. And the one day I would have gotten mafia, it was taken away from me. Oh well. Thanks for the game.
By request, here are the roles BY CHARACTER. I think I lost the record of which player played which role, but look on the front page for comparison. First are the Doctors.
Doctors
1 Investigator-you have the power to investigate one target per night. You know your companion and can communicate with him and your companion will know your identity once the game is underway.
2 misdirector-Through sheer force of being so, so damn distracting; you are able to mis-direct all night actions from one target to another.
3 Hand to Hand fighter. You are immune to Night-Kill. Hey, someone breaks into your TARDIS will definitely will regret it. You got a sonic screwdriver and you’re not afraid to use it! You can also reverse the polarity of the neutron flow.
4 “Scarf and Hat” As you talk to your opponent, you tend to hand him your hat and scarf, thus blocking him from action.
5 “Master of Time and Space” You can bring back one player from the dead every 3 days by Pming the Time Lord Council (Frontman and St. Cuthbert) with your intended target. You cannot have contact with the player prior to doing so.
6 “Somewhat petulant egoist” Your vote cannot be modified.
7 “A driven, dark gamesmaster” Your vote will count as two votes.
8 “One and Done” You are a jailkeeper, that you both protect and roleblock your target
9 “Leather is in.” Once per night phase, you can PM the Time Lord Council and get some information about the “flavor” of your target. It will be up to you to decipher our clues.
10 Allonz-y! With the ability to keep on talking, well, rambling, well, eventually getting to the point, you can make one other player target his actions onto another player instead of his chosen target. This ability will not work in the presence of hairdryers.
1 Ian Chesterton (bodyguard) Bodyguard. You can protect one character for a night. You have a chance of dying when you do; however your death will reveal information about your attacker.
Captain Jack Harkness You are pro town. You can kill one target per night. Do try not to kill any townies, ok?
2 Jamie McCrimmon (Piper, roleblocker) You are a roleblocker. By playing your bagpipes, you will prevent the actions of any one target. (It should be all players, because, really; who in their right mind likes bagpipe music?)
3 Sara Jane Smith (Reverse Tracker) You can learn who targeted a specific player, but not what they did. You also have a sonic lipstick. Sadly, that does nothing in the game, but hey, it’s a cool thing to add flavor to your role.
4 Leela “Single Vision” Once you cast your vote, you cannot change your mind. You also are an executioner. If you chose to, you can PM the Time Lord Council (Frontman and St. Cuthbert) and end a lynch vote early with the leading vote getter getting lynched. You also run around in buckskin leathers with a knife.
5 Nyssa of Traken (psychic) You can gain one random tidbit of information about your target per night phase. You may also get random messages from the Time Lords (Frontman and St. Cuthbert) relaying PMs sent to them. You might not learn the senders identity.
6 Mel Bush (investigator) You can investigate one target per night; learning the Identity of your target.
7 Dorthy “Ace” (bomb expert) You can protect one target per night. That target is immune to any bomb attacks. Also, you cannot be killed for voting to lynch anyone who is a bomber.
8 Grace Holloway (A Doctor) Each night, the Doctor contacts the Game Moderator, choosing one player to protect during the night from a night kill.
9 Rose Tyler You’re a pretty hot blonde who gets to time travel. Simply put, you’re eye candy.
10 Martha Jones (A Doctor) Each night, the Doctor contacts the Game Moderator, choosing one player to protect during the night from a night kill.
Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart (Protective Custody.) Target one player per night. You roleblock that player. Also, they cannot be nightkilled while you protect them. Your alignment is arguably companion (Miller.) Purists might not like it, but hey; you do ally with the Doctor, don’t you?
