I'm for it. There are really 4 main Marvel properties to focus on, X-Men, Avengers, Spider-Man, Fantastic Four. If it takes a while for another Avengers set, I'm happy.

I'd love to see a Dr. Strange focused set with Defenders and generic sorcerers from the temple where he was trained. A chase theme like Future Foundations with different versions of Dr. Strange would be pretty amazing to see.

And of course DC has a million properties I wish they'd focus on, but they get 1 set a year when MARVEL looks to be getting close to 5 this year.

Just touching base with the Mods to see if this thread can be unpinned from the Upcoming Sets and Rumors Forum as it hasn't been relevant for months.

This thread no longer serves it purpose (hasn't for a long while now) as it doesn't contain any of the 2021 Wizkids Releases... in fact it's even missing the 2020 WizKids releases from September and on from last year as well.

The opening post was "Last edited by eMouse; 03/22/2020 at 15:19.", that's almost 1.5 years without any content added. Leaving this thread pinned at the top only serves to clutter this Forum, and can give the impression that there is a lack of care about WizKids products, and ultimately this great site.

Any of the information here can be found in the Units Forum where all Heroclix sets are shown in chronological order. Unless this thread is going to be updated regularly and maintained with current information, there really is no reason for it.

I agree, though I would much rather have this thread or one like it to collect the info on when sets are being released, as well as a handy archive of when past sets were released, than to not have such a thread at all, this one is so poorly maintained that, like you said, it serves as more of a hindrance than a boon.

But when this thread was actively updated, I used it on the regular, and I miss that.

I know I haven't kept up with the release schedule, but the main purpose it serves now is this:

Otherwise I would unpin it. I often find myself referring back to that post to get the WizKids release list URL though, and I assume others do as well.

If someone wishes to take on the task, they're welcome to do so. I mainly started letting it slide because WizKids has gotten a lot better about communicating upcoming releases.

While I appreciate your response, the update, the link and quite honestly all the work that went into this thread during the years you actually decided to maintain it... don't you think keeping a thread alive just for the sake of a link is a little weak and more than redundant...?

Sorry if this is coming off the wrong way, just not seeing the point is all.

People can easily Bookmark webpages, list them under "Their Favorites" or simply rely on their memory. I mean, we could link any number of WizKids pages here, but it's highly unnecessary to dedicate a thread in order to do so.

I don't know if it's an HP-specific and iPhone-specific thing, but I actually have my laptop and phone set up where I can scroll past threads I'm not interested in or see no point in, whether they're pinned or not. I might do a little poking around the internet to see how others can configure their own settings to do the same thing. It's really helpful.

While you're looking you should see if there's a setting that stops you from being a condescending jackass.

I notice this thread isn't pinned anymore, guess it's sad but for the better. I used to check out this thread a lot and it was a great reference to see what was upcoming and down the pipeline. However, in a Forum dedicated to Future sets and Rumors, this thread slowly became outdated and now unfortunately only contains past information. I'll miss it and until someone else decides to carry the torch, RIP WizKids Product Release Schedule Thread...
