Ok...if I want to read the Marvel Civil War storyline, what trade paperbacks would I get that gives me the whole story? I looked at the TBP that collects Marvel Civil War #1-7, but then there's also separate TBPs for Iron Man and for Captain America. Do I need all of those? Do I need others?

If I remember right, #1-7 gives you the whole story. There are side storys for spidey also. But I believe #1-7 give you the whole story.

Don't think there is one trade that would cover everything. There's the main story which is what I'd suggest. From there, if there is any part of the story you'd like to see fleshed out, you can get the trades for that character/team. This and Dark Reign (which I though was way better - enjoyed the rise and fall of Norman) are similar in that the side stories expand on the main plot and go into deeper detail. You'll get the point from the main trade though.
