I finally got around to watching their demolition derby series yesterday, it was thrilling! Crazy Jimmy making a return and continuing to earn his nickname.

Jeeesh, seeing these posts reminds me that we're a good 2 or 3 months behind on 3D Botmaker stuff. We need to have a rainy, no work or school day to catch up on a good 10-15 race segments.

Yeah, they've put out a bunch of content, and it's really well done. Sometimes I legitimately forget that I'm just watching die-cast cars. It's truly astonishing what they've been able to do.
Quincy had his 2nd soccer game of the season tonight. We had a huge storm an hour before he was supposed to play, and the RADAR and forecast showed another one rolling in before the games would be done. Do you think the local soccer league would cancel tonight's games? Or maybe have someone responsible for blowing a whistle or sounding a horn or SOMETHING as a warning to clear the dozen or so fields being used?
Anyhow, we get to the last 10 minutes of the game, thunder has been rumbling in the distance for several minutes, a huge damn storm cloud front is rolling in, and we wait until I literally walked on the field and yelled that we have lightning and thunder. Our field was still playing, while various other ones were doing their own things. Some packing it in early, others still playing, etc. Cue a massive downpour while we are all packing up, and a rush to the cluster#### in the parking lot.
Yeah, it was a great time. Plus my little 5 yr old girl got stung in the first 2 minutes of the game, so that was great too.
Was that video made by Monty Phyton's Flying Circus?
To me, it sounds like a radio friendly Misfits song that was overproduced, definitely has the rockabilly feel. I have seen Volbeat live, no complaints.
Speaking of music, two of my favorite up and coming bands, both released new music, recently.
Turnstile (from Baltimore, MD) released their 3rd studio album which really highlights how far they have come as musicians. I remember seeing them several times on the undercard of Tsunami Fest (Annual Fall Hardcore / Punk festival hosted by a club called Reverb in Reading, PA) and they always had great energy. There's a bunch of banging tracks on their new album "Glow On", one of my favorites is Blackout.
Starcrawler (Los Angeles, CA) Blending the sludgy, doom-laden riffs of Black Sabbath with the urgent pop-punk of The Runaways, the band Starcrawler is a group whose entire DNA seems linked to the 1970s. Pretty crazy they were able to get both Danny Trejo and David Hasselhoff for the video, WTF! Long live Rock and Roll, Goodtime Girl.
Wishing for competitive Judge Dredd figures for Modern Age...WizKids are you listening?!?!
If we're talking new music, Iron Maiden (the greatest band of all time) put out a new album - Senjutsu. I love the art work.
I play Warzone, perhaps way too much. It is a free game, but I spent 10 bucks once to get in on the "season". Since then I've been able to accumulate enough points to pay for each season, so no more cash from me.
Now (and pay close attention SlickyTrickyMicky), they may have access to my wallet. They came out with 2 Judge Dredd skins, and accompanying weapons. The black and white "comic strip" version is really calling to me. $24 bucks. I'm swaying on the fence.

That looks cool AF. I wish I was better at 1st person shooter games.

I dug both bands but I think Turnstile was my favorite of the two. They had a good mix of everything you want in a punk-ish, new wave-ish, emo-ish type of a band. I was most worried about Starcrawler because I was just thinking of The Darkness and I can't stand that band but I wanted to like them.
