Here's the Mafia and the Serial Killer (The Master). When things looked grim for the Mafia, the two groups united to destroy the Doctor.
Davros Don
Dalek Caan Kills via a bomb. If lynched, the first person to vote for you will be killed via a bomb.
Judoon corrupt cop. If investigated, you are shown as a cop; unless someone specifically investigates your alignment.
The Weeping Angel: Can remove a player from the night phase or the next day phase. Removing means they are simply not there, cannot be affected by anything. If you are targeted by anyone at night, you cannot complete your action.
Evil Ood: Double Agent. You show as town, but you are really mafia.
Cybercontroller Roleblocker. You and your cybermen can roleblock one character per night.
Sontaran Paranoid Alien. Will kill anyone who targets him. (PGO)
The Master. You are a killer. You wish only to destroy the Doctor, then take over the universe. (Who says you set your goals low?)
I'd be interested to know just what happened the night I targeted The Darkstone for "copping". Rokk was adamant he control-misdirected me, but it never happened (I was telling the truth there).
"Why would the possibility of me being wrong ever stop me from doing something?"
Well, the Sontaran wasn't part of the mafia. We had no idea who it was until they showed up lynched.
But yeah... the mafia, really, had no chance in hell with the townie roles being what they were. It was only because of lack of activity that allowed us to win.

And yeah, the town has: 4 investigators, 2 roleblockers, 2 jailkeepers, 2 doctors (and a bodyguard that might not be killed but will definitely out the killer in the thread), AND a resurrector. As well as someone that can't be nightkilled, a vig, and someone that can commit daykills?
We should have been dead by Night 5.

Just goes to prove, DALEKS ARE PERFECTION!!! All Hail Davros!!!

As badly as this game was stacked against the badguys...I think we "the mafia" even knew who the Master was by the end of the second night!...I am not complaining about MY role.
When I'm mafia, and don't have an active power I greatly prefer being ordered to make the kills. Being a bomb in this game offered me the chance to be evasive and hopefully take out a cop with me. It was only courtesy of Rokk that I was able to exterminate Captain Jack.
That night, I actually felt really bad for the town: Rokk's misdirecting of the vig lent creedence to malakim's bogus claim of being a "nexus"...and actually kept the Vig from 100% identifying Malakim as Davros (even tho' the writeups made it pretty clear that Jack targetted Davros).
